Inaccurate data BUYER BEWARE

I have been in business for 10 years and this company is reporting I have been in business for 5 years and therefore they are providing false information to unsuspecting people that inquire about me. The ridiculous part about this whole situation is that the supervisor when I told her that I started the business in another state 10 years ago it took her less than a minute to reply oops yes I see that start date of 10 years. She stated it was my responsibility to feed them information that they are gathering and providing without my consent. So basically they gather data then charge people for that data yet they are absolved in her own words of making sure that data is accurate!!!! Criminal in my opinion. If you are selling my data you are selling fraudulent information about my company to people because you are too lazy to make sure it is correct!!!!They also have my husband listed in their business directory as the principal owner and I am no where to be found. He has nothing to do with my business as a principal. They have my incorrect address on their business search yet she read my correct information to me so they have the right information but fail to update it across their platform. Again my responsibility she claims as the business to verify the information they are selling is correct!! Absurd and criminal. You are told there is no way to keep your name off of their ridiculous bogus list full of lies so buyer beware that is looking into any company using this platform. My personal experience is that a majority of the data they will provide you is likely inaccurate!This is my opinion and experience as a business owner.

Horrible customer service…

Their customer service is so awful that my brain hurts after only five minutes of trying to make a conversation. I wanted to inquire the options of becoming their client via an enterprise subscription for their market research reports, only for their customer service agents to transfer me from one another and disconnecting my chat on two occasions, all the while avoiding to answer my straight forward questions! Sounded like I tried to connect with some gang which has the website as a front for their activities - nobody knows anything. Horrible experience! I cannot understand that a company of their caliber can have such an awful customer service!

Terrible website and customer service

Terrible website and customer service. It is a requirement to have a DUNS number to register a specific filing with the FDA for one of my businesses. Why the FDA would force small businesses to work with Dun and Bradstreet seems pretty ridiculous to begin with. As soon as you create an account, they offer no help and try to upsell you a bunch of stuff you do not need. So if there was an honest person not knowing any better, they would likely be scammed into spending money on something they don't need. DNB had the incorrect address and code for our business. I tried fixing it online and the site keeps giving me errors and crashes. I called in and the lady on the phone (after waiting for 30 minutes on hold) was not very helpful. She sent me a bunch of broken links that did not solve the problem. So now I am forced to send a bunch of documents to DNB so they can update our profile with the correct info, just so we can get registered with the FDA. DNB should have nothing to do with this process. DNB probably paid someone at the FDA to make this requirement. We should not be forced to share our company information with a scummy 3rd party company just to register with the FDA. Terrible experience with DNB. They literally make money of selling our information, and the government is forcing small businesses to give the information freely to DNB. Such a scam.

An utter mess of a company

An utter mess of a company, virtually every bit of information they have on our company is either unbelievably outdated or flat out incorrect. For instance, listing the owner as someone that passed away more than fifteen years before, when the owner has changed hands twice since. Company website changed in 2013 and they still have the old one listed. Multiple claims of late payments or a laughably low credit, lies about payments being late or money owed that has never been true. Where do they get the information from? They don't say, and much of it I suspect is just made up to make companies look bad so they get suckered into paying D&B large amounts of money to fix things. Even when you try to update the information, much of it doesn't and talking to anyone they just constantly try to sell you on monthly payments or various things they try and rip you off with. Honestly it borders on slander given that they are providing incorrect information to make our company look worse to anyone that would actually trust them, and doing so for the sole purpose of trying to get us to pay to remove the negative information. We won't be paying (obviously) and I can only hope this company closes down and anyone involved in this horrible scam gets what they deserve.

I am being ripped off

Any time I called for general information for my business, they try to sell me some expensive program that I CANNOT USE and check with my bank, after my initial conversation with one of the agents I found out they stuck me in a program I do not know what it is and they have been pulling off my checking account 166.58 for a long time, month after month so I will call tomorrow and rectify this situation, I want all the money back in my account.

USELESS TRASH

DnB used to be the source for B2B information. They're worthless now. Most of the contact information comes from filing for LLC's. And then no follow up. Well if you've ever started a business, you usually get the LLC first. Then you get your business address. So for B2B sales your home address that you used to get the LLC is useless. It's no wonder why you have to sign an annual contract for their information. Because if it was monthly they'd be out of business. I spent $6000 for an annual subscription and it was wasted money. Their sales people also used deceptive practices. They show you valuable features. Then once you sign, those features are extra. DnB is a scam.

It seems to take a lot of effort to get a receipt for payment to my subscription. I could not find a place to access it through my account online as the admin. I had to rely on someone getting back to me, which they still have not, per my request for a receipt. I received the confirmation that payment will be processed, but I needed a receipt showing the payment went through.

D&B Not Valid

D&B Not ValidD&B poses as having "accurate" information on companies, but so few companies report to them that they deceive their listings. For example my company purchases $3M of materials annually, but our highest listed credit line is shown as several thousands of dollars. They show in some cases payments as being slow, when they are not. Sometimes with a dispute they will drop it but there have been times when we need to continue to dispute to push more information. In my opinion, they provide impartial information about companies that is misleading in an effort to try to get you to purchase their services so you can "upload" your payment history to them instead of them collecting it.

This company approached me to do some work for them as a freelancer. I quickly realized they are scammers due to the amount they want to pay for your services. As a data captures I know how to deal with scammers. Don't work for anyone without a written agreement. Horrible people!

I have been attempting to deal with D&B for years and every time I reach out, I get slapped in the face (figuratively). The employees are extremely unhelpful and only try to sell their services. Some of the information on my company was incorrect, but would they fix what they obviously got wrong? NO! Today I got sick of receiving stupid emails from them saying my company's credit rating changed, but when I tried to Unsubscribe, nothing happened. Now I have to call. I filled out the form completely, but the button to complete the form didn't work. I tried 3 times. I HATE THIS COMPANY. .

Absolutely shocking and a waste of money. Incorrect contact names, incorrect contact numbers. Email addresses of people who left the business a number of years ago. Don't waste your money would happily have given this company 0 stars. Far better data sourcing companies about. Oh and they want me to sit and record every bit of information that is incorrect in order for me to claim a refund. I am trying to run a business, don't have time to-do your job for you. Stay as far away from this company

Stay as far away from this company as you can.Once you sign up to their services, even if you requested a one of service you will be put on a rolling contract unless you cancel in a very specific way with specific wordings to a specific email address.Even if you never use their service again you will get continuously billed!!!!We asked for a one off European and one off international report in 2022 which rolled onto 2023. They do not reply to your emails to query invoices instead they send your details to debt collectors.The worst company to deal with.

Let's start from the beggining. I'm a Freelancer. My name Is Saad Raza. I work at Fiverr. I got a random msg from this guy "patrickalison9" through fiverr inbox. he said " Are you available for EDITINGIf you're available ask homedesks.hr(@)gmail.com for details and requirements. (Your full name and country should be stated in the mail)... " I'm in desprite need of money so I thought maybe it's a good start to try something new. I email'd them and they replied. I was a bit confused first when they said typing images bcuz I asked them for a video editor pos. THEY REPLIED THIS TO MY FIRST MAIL: >>>====================================="Hi, I'm Martin Skeens, I'm a Customer Service & Support consultant at Dun&Bradstreet and I welcome you on behalf of the management, Hopefully, your skills would be a great addition to the team...The job available is about typing images into word documents. We'll send you some images and we expect you to retype the content of these images into word documents without any additions or omissions and convert them to pdf before submitting. I've attached some samples of the images Open the link to watch the demo video for more understanding and let me know if you're able to handle this. "====================================== I thought it would be much more easier to type data and get paid. I continued our conversation. They gave me a PDF file to read so I red it and I got convinced at first. Luckily I am not that braindead, I googled about this company and did some research until I end up reading reviews on Trustpilot. I am truely greatful to all those people who has written honest review about theses filthy scammers. You guys saved another poor boy from getting scammed. No permission and stolen data

They had my name and address up there without me having an account, or having signed up with them at all. I changed my name last year, and THAT new name was on the same page. The link between the 2 names cannot have been sourced anywhere but the Latitude breach through the stolen birth certificate / change of name certificate. No online accounts linked the names. I have to change my name again as my stalkers know my new name now. When I wrote they told me it would take 28 days.I told them it was stolen data and it came down in a few hours. I found the page by searching my old name ( a check I do, for my safety) and it came up on page 1 of the search with both names. I'm still in shock about it. They told me they can't delete my data as it belongs to my local branch - who claim no affiliation. Hmmm. They are hard to contact so here is the address if anyone needs it: ukcs atsgin dnb.com
