Disgusting SCAM!

Disgusting SCAM!They appear high up on google search for my business and listed basically all the wrong info about everything. They are using my personal address, some random person as the main contact (I'm not even listed as a contact) and I had no idea who D+B even were... I tried getting my business removed completely but they wouldn't do it. So, I at least tried to get it corrected and it has been a total nightmare! I never gave them info or permission to list my business and I'm furious. I have people getting confused contacting me because its listed as being in an entirely different state! I wish I had some tip or trick for someone else going through the same issue but I'm still trying to fix this mess! The ONLY thing I can tell you is be prepared for War and DO NOT give them any money!!

What a nightmare to deal with this…

What a nightmare to deal with this company. They either scrape or manually enter ever single business that registers an EIN. They misspelled my address. They added a random URL for my company. And Apple developers have rejected my application because THEIR info doesn't match the REAL info. I NEVER GAVE THEM DUNS ANY INFO EVER!And now, when I am trying to correct it -I have talked and told many employees through email and phone to correct the info - I am stuck in a "verify" loop. I am stuck uploading bank statements. I am stuck uploading Articles, EIN statements, bank statements, websites. I have given the right info to managers, to people who answer the phone, on the phone, on the email...AND they have the nerve to say "what is your reference" or "case number" ... like just update the info to the right info. THEM, "Let me pull up your website... I see your contact info. Sorry - we have to have our managers change it..."Me, "I have now given YOU, YOUR manager on the phone and through email... and you still haven't updated that info..."UPDATE: The lady from DUNS called me back (after we were disconnected). This is the 4th person to say "it will take up to 30 days" just to get a response NOT to correct the info that they setup without my knowledge, without my permission.Meanwhile, I have an application from Apple setting on pause because Apple verifies biz info using DUNS. So we can't launch (what we built for the past 8 months) because of DUNS scraped or entered the wrong info. Make it make sense...UPDATE: I finally got approved from Duns to manage my profile and correct the info. You would think this would be a simple edit and correct the info. WRONG. They literally open up a case for THEIR employee to correct it. SO let's walk through what we have done so far in 17 days...1. Applied for Apple...2. Apple finally contacts me back saying that my Duns info doesn't match.3. I contact Duns... they set me up an account.4. They require 3 forms of ID (data harvesting) to get approved to manage your profile.5. They mispelled my company name and added a random domain name for my company. Without my knowledge.6. They leave off the office suite number and leave the website URL.7. I open another case. They correct the suite number and misspell my company URL.8. I open another case. They misspell my company URL again.9. I open another case. Now waiting. The next message says it will take up to 45 days to fix this misspelling. They have misspelled and gone around and around so many time, I feel like I'm being punked by Ashton. What a nightmare!!!UPDATE: I now have 5 case numbers of their employees trying to update my URL for my company's website. That means I have tried FIVE times to correct the spelling of my company's website and ALL five times in a row - it was misspelled. Make it make sense...UPDATE: I finally explained this to a very cool employee. The sixth time - he said just email me the URL so I can copy and paste it. I did that. He pasted it. It's over. We did it, Duns. We did it. INSANITY!Did I mention it was just my company name in the URL (one word)?

Dun & Bradstreet Malaysia Scammers

As a person with many years of experience in the IT sector, I must admit that this is one of the worst web services. The website is overwhelming and confusing, the only thing that is simple is the process of paying for subscription. After you pay for the subscription, you will not know what you paid for, nor will you receive any service, you will simply end up looking for a customer support contact link that does not exist. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANNA SAVE MONEY AND TIME!

DnB is a complete scam

DnB is a complete scam. They hold your company hostage by allowing other companies to slam you anonymously so you can't even research the validity of the claims. They scammed me out of 4300.00 for a concierge service that I can't access because the DnB Authentication process is non working. When asking DnB to help with Authentication process they tell you straight up they can't or will help resolve that issue. They are corrupt and fraudulent.

Their DUNS number sign-up was designed by their worst enemy!!

One of the most mediocre websites I've ever had the misfortune to interact with! I tried to obtain a DUNS number for my business, their system is just impossible... Once you create an account with username & password, you'll be stuck in an endless loop of:1. Logging into new account 2. Inputing your company name,3. They send you a confirmation email, 4. The email automatically logs you off your account, So, you:1. Log into new account 2. Input your company name,3. They send you a confirmation email, 4. The email automatically logs you off your account, So you:1.Log into new account 2. Input your company name,3. They send you a confirmation email, 4. The email automatically logs you off your account, So, you:1. Log into new account 2. Input your company name,3. They send you a confirmation email, 4. The email automatically logs you off your account... Ad infinitum...To add insult to injury, I tried using their "support bot"...It is the best proof that AI will never be able to "take over the world"!It's one of the dumbest, most rigid, less creative and unhelpful pieces of "AI" I've ever interacted with. How a company with such a mediocre level of customer facing UI and service can still be in business is beyond me...

how to be on the safe side of these scammers

Brothers who are new to knowing how to be on the safe side of these scammers and to be in a safe area must first purchase a number from trusted online companies. And if you haven't associated it with any email you have before, create a new email. Use the number provided by the company you provided to receive messages through your page. Use WhatsApp Web to keep the dangers of spying away from your mobile phone. Do not open any files in which they insert spyware files, which can only be detected by an experienced party. For those who work on freelance sites, keep your contacts on the same site; If he tells you to contact me off site, rest assured he is a scammer.Note: do not give your real family name. It is better to always have a (ex PayPal) account to receive money, dedicated only to Internet operations, and to have it linked to a number other than the main number that you use in your personal life.

Scam company

Run, run, run! SCAM!! This company and website should not be allowed to exist!! They have my private home details on their site for a small business that never got off the ground and doesn't exist! Any feedback or opt-out option simply leads you around in circles with no resolution! In order to even submit a request to remove your details, they ask for MORE private details - heck no, not happening!

D&B is a scam

D&B is a scam. The whole thing exists to get you to pay them $229 for their number so they can sell your data and market to you. Scam. And not even a well run one. The website is trash. They call you randomly to verify you when you apply, which you won't know and so won't pick up bc your phone will say it's a scam since they are robo-dialing you.

Don't trust them

Don't trust them. They contact me via fiverr and chat on Telegram. They offer me a job to transcript from image, they request me pay to work, then I hand out $5USD as refundable fee. After I finish the job, they keep making up excuses like the payment transaction failed, I need to pay $400/500USD to fix the problem. No matter what you do, the transaction will 100% fail and request you to pay more. They will trick you, just don't reply them.

Ongoing Lousy Service and Clueless Customer Service

When we opened our business, we were contacted by Dun and Bradstreet to get in on their services and was given the standard line as to how wonderful having my business listed with them would be.At the beginning, when first listed, things looked very good however soon after, I was talked into getting expensive services that they claimed would allow me to input "correct" information about my business and also monitor my credit.Once they charged for the service, I started trying to use the services and none worked.Further, some items showed up on my account that were clearly not mine including SCC filings and other damaging information.Likewise, they kept getting an old account belonging to my father who has been deceased for many years mixed into mine.It seemed every month when they updated their systems, my file was corrupted, more and more so until everything on my page was doubled, information from other accounts were melded into mine and I called to complain.I got several people involved from D&B's Executive Response Team including two management level employee's and am still fighting to try and get things straight. Most recently, I was forced to change my email address because of a hack and when I called to change it, it took months before it was accomplished, and I was still being charged for services but was not able to access anything. The complete lack of understanding by D&B leads me to believe that they are totally clueless about their own systems and have little to no idea what customer service is.The worst thing though is this, while they ineptly go about trying to figure out what's going on, my business credit is being defamed and those financial institutions who have in the past given favorable decisions with regard to credit have now stopped saying my Duns number is dropping like a stone. To anyone looking to use this thinking it will help you obtain favorable results with financing, I can assure you it will not, it will have exactly the opposite effect and their "Wonderful, Professional Services" will destroy your company's credibility in very short order. They won't take responsibility for doing this, they won't refund your money spent and as such, I am consulting with my business attorney to see if there is legal means to either compel them to do so or the possibility to file a civil claim against them for damages done to our credit profile.Steer clear, you're better off going at it on your own!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY IN THE…

THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY IN THE US!!!! I pay $150 dollars a month for the credit builder service and cant add one trade line to my account. Despite the fact that the businesses that I'm trying to add are listed in their approved database of businesses to add as trade lines. They have a ton of data on my credit report and I can't see who's reporting it or where it came from and the customer service reps at the company can't explain it either. I'm really scratching my head trying to understand what all the hoopla is about this company. This is so sad!!!! It is just another harsh reality that shows how far we've falling as a nation.

A disgrace and a disappointment

A disgrace and a disappointment. They found me on my Fiver account regarding a project. They wanted to send through a number of images and wanted me to copy text, font, background etc into word. They required a deposit of 50usd showing my commitment as i would be a long distance freelancer. They sent me a sevice agreement to review which did indeed include the necessary clauses to cover me as a service provider and included the 50usd fee that was refundable. All this, seemed legit based on the initial conversations we had. I signed, received a project which i completed and sent through a day in advance of the official deadline. They sent me a proof of payment of 700usd approximately. The money never came through. I gave them 2 different bank accounts for online payment and they claimed they cant pay me unless i link my account to their payment systems. What they never mentioned prior to me signing is that in order to link it i had to pay 300usd which was refundable. This wasnt mentioned in the contract therefore it was not guaranteed in my eyes. I didnt have the 300 and even if i did i would not send them anymore money. It is the company's responsibility to make sure payments go through to their employees and service providers. They then negotiated saying we can each pay half of the amount. This is unacceptable. I as an employee should not be obliged to pay for their authorisations in order to get paid for my job. They didnt even offer to add this as an additional clause to the contract. I have never heard anything like this before. I wouldnt trust this company again. The final straw was that they were disappointed with me saying they lost money by sending through the payment. Which didnt make sense cz if i never received the money it means its still on their side and they can retract it. Total scam, disappointment and waste of time

I wish this place can be shut down or hire more professional individuals. I spoke to a guy yesterday he was such a rude person. Last month I call customer service to figure out why every time I logged in it gave me someone else that lives in my development business information. They said it was by mistake etc and apologize, then told me he would put in an expedited request to have my DUNS number created. If possible I want that call pulled and review for coaching. I work in customer service and wouldn’t dare talk down to people. I really wish I remembered his name. This morning I got an email saying ( Thank you for requesting a D-U-N-S Number with Dun & Bradstreet. Unfortunately, your request could not be completed at this time.) After the unprofessional idiot I spoke with told me it hasn’t been 30 days then try to get me to pay $200.00 + to expedite my request. I am furious about this.

Their website is awful and they have out dated data

Their website sucks and they are not reputable.... multiple times I have tried to update our address something that simple and they keep kicking me out saying "To protect our customers and their data, a maximum of three attempts are allowed at a time. Once the retry limit is reached there is a one week cooldown period before another verification attempt is possible." I have tried over the course of 3 weeks and I get this error every time their site is just horrible and does not work properly.

agree with others commenting they are a scam organization and should be sued. they fraudulently reported stuff about our business to get us to pay for their services to see. when we didn't and pressed them, they finally removed, but wouldn't say how or why the original fraud appeared. We know they did it to get small businesses to pay for something they don't need. US Government should investigate them for ripping off and scamming many small businesses.

This company does not have credibility

This company does not have credibility, an American company has requested a report on our company and the information disclosed is absolutely false, from the number of employees to the annual turnover and so on, They have provided old information from 22 years ago when the company opened without updating the file. Result we were refused to obtain credit with certain American suppliers, thinking that we are not creditworthy. D&B said they will update the file but the damage is done.

This is the WORST website ever!!

This is the WORST website ever!!! The multiple windows. The constant logins and repeat verifications of the same information. They make it nearly impossible to successfully navigate, understand and operate the website for a businesses credit build and success. And own multiple businesses!!! This is the worst online experience. Ive been dealing with this website in frustration for months now with virtually NO success. And the wait and not being able to speak to a LIVE person makes this experience even WORSE!
