Key to flat : Copy of key made without landlord knowledge by telling the tenant( who is new to the country) KFH had permission to do so. I, the landlord am furious as I now need to replace the lock. Note: other similar complaints on Trustpilot about KFH. Rental of flat: I approached KFH, 3 months prior to expiry of tenancy of present tenant . KFH decided on an exorbitant rent which they did not achieve for more than 2 months so then rent of flat was reduced after discussing with KFH . KFH Lettings director, Islington branch, went on leave . I had to deal with the assistant manager Mr Stephen Daley ,3 weeks prior to tenant moving out. Soon Daley was shouting down the phone :' I am now in charge and make decisions !' Very scary as I have met the guy. The experience working with Daley was extremely distressing and a nightmare. He is totally incompetent too.Bullied : Stephen Daley , Assistant Manager , Islington Branch spoke rudely, bullied and gaslighted me, the landlord, during my one week association with him . I truly do not know what he thinks of himself but he needs a feedback: You are a Bully and bullying landlords does not work . Landlords: STAY CLEAR OF STEVEN DALEY . I did make a complaint about keys and Daley so now with 2 weeks left before tenant moves out, I, the landlord, am left to seek another estate agency . Must say I am relieved for cannot bear to have any contact with the nasty despicable Stephen Daley.Overall my KFH experience as a landlord has been very poor though must add the Lettings Director at KFH was always polite.SC.

Grear broker who helped me with my first mortgage

Sawan was a great broker who helped me secure very good mortgage in the turbulent times of extremely volatile interest rates! A great team!

I wasn't looking forward to the whole selling the house thing, but I needn't have worried. Laura, Harry, and the rest of the team were professional, efficient, and hugely importantly kept me informed as to what was going on. Excellent lettings service in Chiswick

I would like to sincerely appreciate the way KFH Chiswick Lettings Team (and Rebecca in particular) managed our recent tenancy. Throughout the period we were renting the property and upon closure, the service provided by Rebecca and team was impeccable in quality and timeliness. Sally and Hannah were great!

Sally and Hannah were great!Given I was travelling from the south coast to do viewings, Hannah arranged for visits to several houses in an afternoon. She was very knowledgable about all the properties and I was so impressed with her professionalism. Once my offer had been accepted, the vendors refused to take the house off the market until exchange and Sally was very supportive during what was a stressful time. There were a number of issues that cropped up over the intervening weeks and she managed these expertly and efficiently, liaising with all the other estate agents in the chain whilst communicating regularly with me so I was always kept in the loop. Firstly thank you to Jayden - Islington Sales office - done a fantastic job start to finish. Nothing was too much for Jayden. He was Prompt, hard working, reliable and straight to the point. I gave this review 4 stars as the so called recommended solicitor by KFH was nothing but short of poor . I had to chase the solicitor every few days, the solicitor asked repeatedly the same questions to both myself and my management agent, totally disorganised and not fit to be a solicitor. A separate compliant will be filed on them.

I approached three estate agents in the Hornsey area and was particularly impressed by Barrington Dutton of KFH whose attitude was so positive. I was selling a property in my role as executor for an old friend who had recently died. Although we could not sell until we had probate, Barrington showed the house to a variety of interested parties, some of whom offered significantly more than the asking price. When the mortgage rate began to climb, we lost these offers and the house suffered water damage during the winter. Undeterred, Barrington achieved an excellent offer from a purchaser who was happy to pay a good price for the property in its unrestored state. I am really grateful to Barrington and his team at KFH Crouch End for achieving such an excellent result in what the newspapers constantly refer to as a falling market.

Very disappointing experience

I recently sold a flat through KFH Canada Water and I would not recommend using them. I found the interaction with them very unpleasant and unhelpful. My agent was consistently condescending and uninterested. The way he spoke to me was unacceptable; I was shouted at over the phone, he frequently talked over me, and he refused to let me finish my sentences. His sole interest throughout appeared to be the buyer, who could not be inconvenienced at any cost, even to my own inconvenience, and he clearly forgot that he was supposed to be acting as my agent, which is extraordinary on reflection.Selling and buying properties is a stressful and emotional process and we had a fairly complex chain whereby we had to exchange and complete the purchase/sale of 3 properties simultaneously, involving multiple parties. It was a challenging transaction and had to be carefully managed by everyone involved. My agent was the least responsive/supportive of the group (and some way short of the other KFH agents acting on one of the other properties) and made very minimum contribution out of the 3 real estate agents that we worked with. When they did take up the reins it was to chivvy me into doing whatever the buyer needed, rather than supporting me as my sales agent. He has caused unnecessary frustration by putting pressure on me to conclude on the single sale when the whole chain was being delayed due to a factor outside of our control (another party in the chain was waiting for a mortgage offer). Rather than help me with the communications with my buyer, he threatened that that the buyer would pull out if I could not provide certainty on timing - in that particular conversation he imposed 3 hours to respond, which was completely unreasonable given the delay was not within my control. Clearly, he had no interest in anything other than getting his commission from selling my flat. At the end of the day, the delay was one week and during this already stressful time he only created more tension than help easing it.As soon as we finally completed on all 3 properties, we simultaneous had multiple calls from the real estate agents and our solicitors to say congratulations. My agent from KFH Canada Water was the only one who failed to do the same. This said a lot about how much the sale mattered to him.

KFH Muswell Hill were really great to deal with on both the sale of our property - helping us when our first buyer fell through and then securing us an above asking price offer - as well as sorting a mortgage out for us ... Less hassle to manage the property myself

Initially KFH Lettings were very helpful in finding a great tenant but as time went on they became unresponsive and I ended up dealing with the tenant directly (rather than routing communication via KFH management) as it was much easier. In the end I was paying KFH Management a fee just to collect the rent but dealing with the management myself. I am currently waiting for KFH to return the tenant's deposit after the end of the tenancy which they are refusing to do (despite several emails from both me and the tenant). Generally not a good experience.
