Hi please be careful of this company and their landlords as work has been carried out at a flat but the landlord and company are refusing to pay. Only £700 but the don’t seem to be sorry or to be willing to pay as they are not replying to calls or texts please other people be careful

I'm an landlord and I have recently signed a new contract with Chestertons for a new tenant. The starting date is set for 25th June, however, Chestertons only informed me when I asked them on 26th June, that the contract didn't commence because they need me to sign some other documents. Therefore, they had to push the start date to 29th June. I had to chase Chestertons all the time. They only arranged me the documents for me to sign on 29th June at 6pm! Both me and the tenants were stressed out on the day. But finally we got all the documents signed. Chestertons pushed the start date by 4 days which is a financial loss for me. And I only found out the contract didn't start because I chased them for landlord statement. I wouldn't recommend Chestertons as your property manager.

They totally had their eyes on the landlord's wallet and not us or our friends when it came to renewing. Why? Greed, plain and simple.Even though we said yes to their renewal offer twice, they still tossed the property onto the open market. They tried to blame the landlord, but we know that's just a classic Chestertons move.Honestly, the worst agency we've ever had to deal with.

She introduces me with lovely and stunning properties around Islington and Angel areas, where is close to my studying place and also wonderful with life connivence. She has such a friendly, bright, warm personality and she has been unbelievably patient and thoughtful for me, also closely tracking and supporting on each steps of my decisions, which i don't receive from anyone else from this service. GoogleFrom the moment their valuer, James Salisbury, visited us, Chestertons were like a breath of fresh air. James was frank and honest, and could speak English which we could understand. He obviously knew his market and it was a pleasure dealing with him. Going onto the market, all the sales team visited, and they also were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Guy Morgan brought the first client round within 2 days; offer accepted within 3 days - they obviously had the right clients on their books. Follow ups from Guy during the waiting period - all in all a very good service.
