We chose Chestertons Islington to sell our house in De Beauvoir and would highly recommend them. If you are looking for a professional team that go the extra mile and really do care - then pick this office. Graham and Oliver’s communication levels were excellent throughout and they always tried to give the right advise. We had a tricky and prolonged chain situation, in the middle of a pandemic and from start to finish - I cannot but compliment their handling of the sale. Thanks Oliver and Graham once again. I have just completed my flat sale with Chestertons and would like to whole-heartedly recommend them - particularly Matt who handled all aspects of the sale and Scott who oversaw things and did the valuation etc. I had been going to go with other local agents but was recommended Chestertons by a friend and was very glad I followed her advice. Scott was very reassuring and knowledgeable about the area and market and I felt in safe hands from the word go. Matt was brilliant to work with throughout the sale, efficient, kind, communicative and very hard-working. He supported me through the process which was somewhat stressful in the current environment, following-up with the lawyers, and ensuring the buyer and myself were kept up-to-date and the sale was progressing as smoothly as possible. I have exchanged contracts today on the sale of my terraced house in N7. I couldn't be more thrilled - a great early Christmas present!. Chestertons In Islington have been fantastic throughout the entirety of the process. From first meeting with Scott to discuss the sale and valuation it was clear he truly understood the local market and I trusted his guidance on price and approach to marketing the house. The team at Chestertons then threw themselves into finding the right buyer. We had some ups and downs along the way with one buyer pulling out and some issues thrown up by the building survey but the team at Chestertons were relentless in pushing things forward. Guy showed tremendous patience in guiding me through the latter stages of the process, constantly in touch to let me know how things were moving along and a great reassurance to me. I've really felt like I've had someone with me fighting my corner throughout the process and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Scott, Guy and the team at Chestertons for those thinking of selling a property in the area.

We selected Chestertons out of all the other agents because they have the biggest market share, a top sales team and are great at communicating and providing customers with what they want. We instantly hit it off with Scott who is experienced, personable and professional and we knew he would deliver what he had promised. I completed on the sale of my Islington property a couple of weeks ago, and feel compelled to write about the exceptional service I received from Scott and Stuart at Chestertons. From the moment Scott arrived to do the initial valuation I was struck by his knowledge of the area, his confidence in dealing with what is undoubtedly a tricky market, and - above all - his extraordinary enthusiasm. Once I'd decided to go with Chestertons (having seen three other agents), everything progressed with remarkable speed and efficiency. Throughout the viewing period I was constantly updated and given really useful feedback. Although the price Stuart suggested seemed ambitious, he was absolutely right and I was delighted with the offer I accepted. During the occasionally bumpy road towards exchange, both Scott and Stuart were constantly available and it felt as if nothing was too much trouble; in an age when it's often hard to get a human voice on the end of the phone, this was hugely appreciated. I would recommend Chestertons unreservedly to anyone looking to buy or sell - a thoroughly professional team, and two really delightful individuals.

I have just recently completed selling of my house in N7 Holloway area with the assistance of Chestertons Islington branch. I was thinking of using local sales agents on Holloway Road but after seeing Chesterton has sold quite a few properties in N7 area, I decided to use them as my sole agent and it was the best decision I have ever made. From the beginning speaking to Scott about the sale of my property to valuation, it was a fantastic experience as Scott has a very good understanding of N7 area. He gave me accurate pricing based on similar properties he has sold nearby. The listing of properties was fast and efficient and the photos &  floor plan produced was detailed and top-notch. The viewing was done mainly by Stuart, he was patient with the viewers and managed to fit in 5 viewings in a day. Stuart went far and beyond and even showed the property to clients who belong to another Chestertons' agent.  In the end, the property was sold to an existing client from Guy and this is where Chestertons' strength lies with their extensive network of existing clients. I was very pleased that Chestertons has sold my property within a week after listing and I caught the mini stamp duty holiday boom in the late summer. Guy was fantastic in closing the deal which is probably the most important bit of the selling process and we managed to exchange contract just before national lockdown began in November. I would definitely recommend using Chesterton to sell your properties, it seems like they have the right formula selling properties in Islington area.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

I have been renting my property with Chestertons for the past 6 months. The contracting and referencing was smoothly organised. When I moved in, the property manager wasn’t very responsive and contractors didn’t appear in 4 months time. I am glad that the agency appointed a new property manager Shakil Khan who has been very responsive and is currently helping to organise all the maintenance works required. He has demonstrated a client oriented approach and professionalism.

Resolution Problem with Tenants

embarrassing and a shambles

quite literally the worst property management service you could wish for. We lived with mould in the flat for 6+ months despite us doing everything we could about it. We raised the point to the letting agent several times who just sent around their guys who said ‘don’t dry washing near the walls’ despite us never doing this. after sending a few people round, one switched on bloke finally realised there was a leak from the above flat. They refused to compensate us for damage to property, some of which was very expensive (bose headphones). When it came to getting our deposit back it was literally impossible. charging us for things that were in the inventory before as missing or broken, £100 for a set of two pillows that were in a cupboard upon arrival and for the whole year? please avoid at all costs, they have no interest in you and will bend over backwards for landlords
