I had a visit that was late by an hour. I didn’t mind too much at the time. But the fact that it’s been a week I’ve been told I’ll get an email of the valuation. Called and spoken to people online and over the phone and I’ve still not heard anything other than we’ll get back to you. Or you’ll receive it tonight.

GoogleWe had a negative experience with Chestertons Islington when selling our house. Firstly they valued it too high and didn’t bring people on viewings. When we asked them to bring viewers they said the price was too high, which was bizarre as they had priced it. This wasted our time while the flat sat on the market. When we called to prompt them they were condescending and unhelpful. Throughout, the agent would repeatedly ask us the same questions after viewings about the basics e.g. if there was a chain. He seemed proud of misleading the buyer by implying there was another buyer. The worst bit was on completion day when the Chestertons buyer didn't pay and the team seemed unbothered. There was a chain of 6 properties waiting on our sale. Our Chestertons’s agent had recommended a solicitor to our buyer, but he was so incompetent that he was unaware that the buyer hadn't paid him. By early afternoon on completion day the buyer hadn’t paid and our agent appeared to lose interest. He went on a viewing and stopped picking up his phone, whilst we were left to deal with the extremely irate chain. Eventually the buyer paid at 3pm, but only 2 out of the 6 houses were able to complete. The most proactive and helpful the Chestertons agent was in the whole process was when he wanted us to write a google review, just after exchange. So I have finally got around to posting this one as I think it may balance out the positive reviews that others may have been encouraged to write.
We take customer feedback very seriously and strive at every turn to provide a high level of customer service throughout the transaction. Toby was terrific to deal with. As a tenant, he was so prompt with his responses and dealt with any concerns or complications with such efficiency. I felt that he was very trustworthy and reliable and therefore could not rate him any higher. Suzan was also helpful with her involvement. Overall, we had a great experience with JP.

Gary Noone, Jack Burnett and the team at Chestertons were proactive, communicative and ambitious with how they marketed my rental flat. They listed it for more than other agents had suggested and still got over-asking from all the offers. From listing day to a signed tenant took just a few days!The admin process after that was smooth and simple via an online portal.

Heather was brilliant, very helpful, understood what we needed and helped us confirm a property that has been perfect for us. All communication was very clear and the tenancy set up was very smooth. Only missing a star as on the move in day the inventory company claimed we weren't at the property at the agreed time (we were) and then we couldn't track down what they had done with the keys for a bit!

Ryan Briggs took over managing my apartment about 6 months ago and it was safe to say that prior to it, it took awhile for responses to my queries. While he seems rather swamped (judging by the out of office messages I get when I send messages), he makes it a point to reply, albeit, a couple of days later. He acts professionally and is quick to understand my concerns and follow up on them. I sense that he is very service oriented and with more time, he will do an even better job. Glad to have him as my property manager.

I was able to find and move into my new flat easily thanks to Louis Vasili and doing the process from a different city. He was able to show me a flat just as it was coming to market and provide videos/visit the property at short notice to make the whole process easy - to benefit of both myself and the landlord. Was always very knowledgeable and very fast/helpful with any queries!
