Phil made the entire renting process incredibly smooth and stress-free. He guided me through every step, helped me with all the documents, and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. His communication, efficiency, and attention to detail were excellent. The whole team at Northwood is very professional, reliable, and fast in handling applications. Phil Peartree has been excellent in handling the sale of my house. He provided prompt responses to enquiries and processing of requests from me regarding the information I needed for the solicitor and minor repairs that had to be carried out. He liaised efficiently with the conveyancing executive and with his experience he was able to guide me to greater options regarding the process. His advice on pricing I felt was sound and I was happy to accept his assessment of offers. I would not hesitate to use him again. Phil's work ethic is admirable. Indeed, I feel he needs to put his feet up a little more, though I realise it is difficult in his job! I certainly appreciated his hard work. In addition, the Northwood team that has been in place for around ten years now have handled the letting of my property very well. Living overseas, I have previous experience of being shunted to the back of the queue when it came to agent handling of my property. This has not been the case with Northwood since Sarah took over.

From day 1 the team were brilliant. We viewed the property on 2 occasions and both viewings were relaxed. We had a different agent each viewing and they were both very friendly. They gave us a quick tour of the property then just let us look around at our leisure. There was no pushiness or pressure. After we put our offer in Phil became our main point of contact. His service was first class and he went out of his way to help us. I would definitely recommend Northwood. Best customer service by far

Northwood have made our first time renting experience so seamless and amazing. After struggling to find a property for quite some time and struggling with other agents simply not replying or giving the time we needed as first time renters Northwood have been fantastic. The referencing experience was seamless and had no bumps in the road for us and was done so quickly and easy. Lauren was particularly helpful during our application as well as the rest of the team and management. They have been there every step of the way and as it is our first time moving out they have answered any questions we’ve had really quickly and nothing was ever too much trouble. I had a very hard time finding a flat before working with Northwood and I cannot fault their service whatsoever. If there were delays, the representatives were quick to get in touch and explain the process. If I had queries, they answers were comprehensive and fast. My representative was Lauren, who initially showed me around the property and was with me every step of the way in getting all the correct documents in, planning a moving in date etc. I have moved a few times now but this has been the least stressful experience I've had thus far - 5 stars and special thanks to Lauren Cudd, who made it not only a stress-free experience but an enjoyable one as well.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Would never buy another property again from them. Buying a place is stressful enough. But this company seems determined to make it as stressful as possible. They never reply to emails you call them and always get told the manager is in a meeting and she will call you back but never does. She clearly thinks she's above every one as she refused to speak to us on many occasions and only wanted to speak to our mortgage broker. The Ryanair of estate agents; doing the absolute bare minimum to provide an acceptable service, meanwhile trying to cut corners and charge tenants extra at every turn. Will conveniently forget every aspect of tenant legislation that benefits tenants, but remember to the letter every aspect that benefits landlords, so to all prospective tenants I'd suggest reading up on housing legislation and maybe put some practice into getting blood out of stones just in case a dispute should ever arise. To cap it all off, their office is in the donkey end of nowhere and they are impossible to get hold of. Avoid like the plague, there are far too many professional and centrally located estate agents in Ipswich for Northwood to be a viable choice.

Unprofessional incompetent staff. Went to view a house we were interested in which was up for £650. Upon asking for the forms we were told there has been a lot of interest so if we want it we would have to have a bidding war to see who would pay the most!! We said okay and were told they will contact the landlord to let them know who is interested and which tenant they wanted. The office said they would let everyone know if they were successful or not the same day or next day.. After a month and half of chasing them every couple of days they still couldn’t give me an answer. Now the property has a board saying it is now LET but still haven’t let know if I was successful or not. There are loads of professional top letting agents in Ipswich to drown these so don’t even waste your time with them I’m sure they won’t be around much longer!
