GoogleTried to get us to pay £30 each for credit and referencing checks. Once I pointed out this has been illegal in Scotland since 2012 only then was there mention of us doing our own credit and referencing checks for them. So they tried to fool us in to paying a total of £60 before they had done anything with our application. This practice is illegal in Scotland since 2012 and will soon be in England too. Viewing was pretty sub par too. Worst letting experience I've had in 20 years. All this is in emails from them, trading standards contacted.

GoogleRude staff. Bad working practices. Attempts to claw back full deposit. Multiple failed attempts at sorting basic repairs and maintenance. Pre check fine prior to leaving...only for agent to arrive on handover day and zooming onto stray fluff on carpet and small debris blown onto the drive outside using an iPad. Unattainable demands of cleanliness despite professional clean. Reported to regulatory deposit holding who awarded over 300 pounds back that these crooks tried to steal. expressed dissatisfaction and she got on the phone for back-up...vile! They treat hard working tenants like they are savages and second class citizens. Organisations like these are why renting is such hardship in the UK. Tip...if you can save whatever you have left once you have overpaid on rent and buy a place...do it. Thank God we are clear of it all.
