TrustpilotTen years of overcharging and appalling service
I was a landlord for ten years and dealt with Slater Hogg throughout that period. My experience was consistently appalling. I felt overcharged at every opportunity and never believed they were acting in my interests as their client. Quite the opposite, it often felt as though they were working against me.

GoogleGreat service, very happy with it I was very lucky to choose Slater Hogg & Howison in Greenock to sell my house. Everything was done professionally and very fast. (Actually it was so fast I barely could cope up with it). David came to property very quickly. I was pleased with his valuation. The engineer visit was arranged in 2 days and it was FREE. So nice. I thought this process will take quite a time but report was ready on next day. Catherine is just so nice person. She kept my stress down. I highly recommend Slater Hogg & Howison Thank you

GoogleNiall and Olivia have been brilliant from the start, as a new landlord they have helped me navigate all of the rules and regulations and have made the whole process of taking over my properties to manage a total breeze, they are always prompt in replying to my emails and nothing is ever too much, definitely takes the stress out of what I thought would be a very stressful time, can't fault them in any way and i would highly recommend using them, you won't regret it 😀

GoogleSlater Hogg handled selling of my mum's flat with great professionalism. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in particular Catherine and Gillian. Nothing was too much effort. Apart from a couple of hiccups (not Slater Hoggs fault - buyers pulled out) everything went very smoothly and I was kept fully informed of what was happening at every stage.

Their social media presence was also a key reason I first enquired with the agency, as I knew my property would be seen widely by any potential buyers. Nothing was a problem, and everything was taken care of for me to allow me to invest my time in preparing for viewings and searching for my next property. TrustpilotI just had a call from some kind of…
I just had a call from some kind of Slater Hogg rep today and follow up texts asking me to phone urgently so I could get mortgage advice. I decided I'd give it a try. I'm in Fife and got someone with a London accent who had no idea about my circumstances. It felt like phishing to be honest and it involved really idiotic questions about my renting my property out (I'm literally not and never have intended to) and how many bedrooms I'm looking for (even though I have my offer for my new place accepted as of a week ago). Really bizarre. It was like someone who is cosplaying as a fortune teller trying to get answers from you by widely guessing at circumstances and past. I'd not use this company again tbh.
