Having checked our entire database, I am unable to locate a record for you so am unsure if we have dealt with you as a customer in any respect? I am also not sure which property you are referring to so cannot check the selling price nor the full history on file. For reference, if the property has a guide price, it will only show one amount on the main property display on the portals. Both figures will subsequently be shown in full details. Hi Martin, Many thanks for the 5 star award for the team at our Ingatestone office. I am pleased you were impressed with the service received and thank you for sharing your experience. I do understand your frustration with regards to the other offer which we received shortly after your own was accepted. We have a duty to put forward any formal offers to our sellers and it is ultimately their choice when deciding which purchaser to go with. Their decision will usually be based on amount offered and the purchaser’s buying position. Unfortunately, on this occasion the other offer was substantially higher, thus resulting in an increased offer from yourselves to secure the property. Alison Horsley, Customer Services Manager
