Bad experience from start to finish. From the beginning, they were extremely difficult to reach. It took a long time to arrange a viewing, and once we (unfortunately) agreed to rent the flat, the paperwork process became a nightmare. Our move was delayed because my email address was entered incorrectly by Izel, yet they waited for information from me that I never received to fulfill. Despite this being their mistake, I was spoken to rudely until it became clear that the error was on their side…only then did their attitude change. On the day of the move, my partner and I had to physically go to the Haart Ilford office in the afternoon just to get the paperwork finished, otherwise it would have been delayed AGAIN, and it was our last day in our flat. On top of this, we were asked to send the deposit twice, again mistake of Izel (almost £5000), and it then took 1, 2 weeks to receive the extra payment back. After moving in, Denise was completely unhelpful with maintenance issues. Often she would not reply even after 4, 5 emails, and I had to go to the office in person multiple times, wasting my own time, just to ask them to contact her. The final and worst part was the deposit return. We left the flat in good condition, cleaned thoroughly, tidy, and in good order and returned the keys on time. Despite everything being in order, I received no communication at all regarding the deposit after moving out. We moved out on 3 November, and I did not receive the deposit back until 9 December, after countless unanswered emails, multiple people being CC’d, and a visit to the office. By law, the money should have been returned within 10 days, and in our case it was delayed by over a month. We should not have had to chase so aggressively to receive money that was rightfully ours. Excuses such as “illness” and “holidays” were given, but honestly, that is not the tenant’s responsibility. This level of communication and service is simply unacceptable. Overall, dealing with Denise for this entire year was an extremely stressful and frustrating experience. Never again. I would not recommend them to anyone. Please save yourself time and don’t deal with them.

From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure dealing the Haart Ilford team - Jag, Bhupinder and Lauren. In particular, I was super impressed with Lauren who introduced herself as a 'Move Manager'. At the time I thought that meant she'd help arrange a removals van. What transpired was a very diligent, proactive and considerate sales facilitation professional who managed to weave a web across buyer, seller and respective solicitors to ensure free flow of communication and maintain a fast pace to completion. I can't thank Lauren enough for going a long way to remove the stress from the whole process. Full kudos to the Haart management team for recognizing the need for 'Move Management'. Finally, my recommendation to anyone reading this is if you're in the market to buy - make sure you buy a Haart house and specifically request for Lauren to manage the process, you'll not be disappointed.

Honestly, my experience with Hart Lettings Ilford has been very disappointing to say the least. I had a viewing scheduled for a property I was interested in, after calling them over the course of 3 days to follow up after I hadn't heard back they finally called me and stated that I needed to view the property the same day otherwise it will go off the market. I wasn't able to make it at such short notice so I informed them that a family member would be viewing it on my behalf, they said they would send me the address and all was fine. I had called back two hours before the viewing time as I hadn't been sent the address and no answer on the phone. I continued calling and still no answer and therefore missed the viewing. This is the third property I have enquired with them about that I haven't been responded to or been able to contact them. Each time I have been assured that someone will contact me and my enquiry has been marked with urgency, then the property has gone off the market straight after. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Ive used haart lettings as landlord for about 3years. When the last tenancy ended, they quickly found new tenants for me. My experience working with Nabil Ahmed(manager) has been a very pleasant one. Nabil was always friendly, professional as well as diligent all through the process. He was clear/prompt in relaying information. Very quick to respond to my questions etc. Nabil’s years of experience really gave me a sense of reassurance and confidence. He was up to date with all legal requirements and helped me in that regard too. I had thought of using another estate agent when the last tenancy ended but I genuinely decided to stick with haart because of the years of excellent service I personally received from haart. Mainly Nabil because I dealt with him the most. Izel Ok was very helpful too all through the process. Great agency in my opinion.

Haart Ilford I would highly recommend for your first or investment property ,during the purchase of our property, Jazz has been amazing keeping us informed and guided us throughout the process, we had a slight delay with our solicitors but Jazz would make sure the progress of the purchase was never slowed down, she would chase down solicitors, keep us in the loop and if anything was needed she would instantly email or call.
