Demand for fees of unsold property.

I am selling my late father's, part ownership home, who passed away in July 2022. After 2 very tough years of unseen complications and poor advice the part owners of the property are going to buy my father's share. Due to the sale not going through Whitegates I was sent a bill for £250 which is itemised in the small print of the contract I signed. This was not pointed out by the staff at the time of signing. I appreciate that this needs to now be paid as part of the terms and conditions of Whitegates service. However, I find it appalling that this bill can not wait until the completion of the sale on my father's home and to be threatened with a debt collection agency is shocking. Why is there such an urgency to pay now?

House selling/ buying is the most stressful time but I have to say Whitegates have been throughout the process, Professional, & the most caring & understanding could not help me enough. At the start Gail explained the process, I have to say she was true to her word, always there in times of need, & the staff at Whitegates are wonderful they go out of their way to sort any problems. I would like to give Joshua a BIG Thank You. Joshua was there when I was at my lowest point in my life. Whitegates deal with people not a number. Thank You .

I would look elsewhere if you want complete management. You'll have a better chance of contacting your GP before Whitegates once you've signed into full management. As my phone calls continue to be buttoned, I'm hoping that they will reply to me in this manner. You'll receive the "ohh sorry must be the phonelines" message after I call with a different number. I'm hoping they'll notice this and get in touch with me to assist me with the charges I'm still paying for even after canceling. Anything handled through this company has been stressful. From Painting & Decorating companies to inspect leaks, to Locksmith charges without any notice. I ended up managing this myself, but still pay management fees because I don't know why? I wouldn't use again for Property management.

Whitegates have been an amazing estate agents to use for both the purchase of my new and the sale of my previous property. From the valuation part of the process all the way until completion day the team have been fantastic. I would like to make a special mention to Amanda who was absolutely fantastic at chasing up anything that needed chasing or explaining the ins and outs of each part of the process. She always made herself available whether that was via email or phone call when she was needed. She was also amazing at liasing with the solicitors and keeping me informed each step of the way. Amanda was also very friendly and extremely professional from start to finish and I cannot thank her enough for all of the effort and hard work she put in to completing the sale of my property and helping me purchase my new one.

My experience in selling a property with Whitegates Huyton, was extremely positive from start to finish.First of all I met Bernadette who explained the process and cost.Polite and professional. House went up for sale and I was kept in the loop at all times, initially by Barbara, then as sale progressed Liam and Tom both helpful, polite and professional. We had a hiccup with probate but I was kept reassured at all times, while waiting. They managed all viewings and I was kept In the loop and given feedback and information by email. The cost of the service is value for money. They Even arranged my solicitor for me at a value price. Well done Whitegates ! Would definitely recommend.

Marrisa has been professional, approachable, and very proactive. Whilst I was looking for properties she was always on time and had answers to any questions asked, this is not true of all agents! During the purchase of the property I want she has been the driving force in moving the sale forward, continually contacting everyone in the chain. I wish I sold my house with Whitegates…

I wish I sold my house with Whitegates Huyton. We decided to sell our home with Housesimple over Whitegates (purely because Housesimple were not charging any fees to sell with them - which suited our situation at the time) However it was the biggest mistake made, and I wish that we had gone with Whitegates Huyton instead, I believe every penny would have been worth it in order to have a stress free process with a friendly and supportive team. The only saving grace from our sale was that we were purchasing from Whitegates Huyton who made everything as smooth as possible on their end - wish I could say the same for Housesimple.

We asked Whitegates to sell our house in Huyton. After not getting a suitable buyer they arranged a 12 month let for the property which turned into 18 months. After the tenant left we put the house back on the market, and we had lots of viewers. thank you Barbara Tom and Liam. Eventually we agreed a sale and Liam helped us throughout the sale liaising with the Conveyancer for us especially whilst we were on holiday.
