I sold a house in Huyton through Whitegates with Liam as my principal contact. The marketing of the house was halted when the Government suspended housing transactions due to the coronavirus. Notwithstanding that, a successful sale was achieved. Liam kept me in touch throughout, with phone-calls and emails, which was really the most important thing for me.

Highly recommend Whitegates

We've been tenants with Whitegates for 3 years. Following a recent inspection, I have to mention Connor from Whitegates who visited. He was polite and professional throughout; explaining what he'd need to do and how long it would take (it only took 15 minutes). I explained I was in the middle of a summer sort out while I was off work and asked him to note this due to the piles of recycling/shedding and bags for the charity shop. He noted this on the report and was able to see past our clutter to the fact that the house was clean and tidy. He emailed the report to me in one working day. A highly efficient employee; he's a credit to Whitegates and to himself.

A warning to anyone using this company. We were told we could view a property and then informed that it had not yet been cleaned. We were informed we would be called when the property had been cleaned ready for viewing, this never occurred. When viewing the property there was mould all over the bathroom, a fire hazard in the kitchen with a plug socket hanging out of the wall and a pot of unknown liquid in the cupboard under the stairs. After being informed that we would like to keep a pet there, the agent ensured she would contact us later that day with an answer and then after no call arrived we contacted them. Another call was promised for the next morning. When no call occurred by 2pm that day we contacted the company to find out that the first person viewing had taken the property. While this is understandable, not informing someone of this is rude and unacceptable. After reading reviews of how the office is managed I have no trouble in believing them to be true. The level of customer service here is absolutely atrocious.
