We are at the start of our journey one which I hope continues and she has been great giving us all the relevant information and contacts so we can get in the best position to hoepfully proceed. Utter rubbish company.They are greedy where they sold the leasehold to a 3rd party company without notification and now that 3rd party company wants 280% more for the freehold title to the land.Why you have been that greedy Morris! Leasehold is a national scam

Having bought many new builds over the years buying from Morris has been by far the most unpleasant and stressful experience. We had a high number of snags on our property resulting with every trade coming back in to put things right. This I didn't mind as much. It's the way in which it was handled. Having to chase things constantly, being fobbed off with any excuse for poor workmanship. If it was something minor then generally it wouldn't be much of a problem to get it sorted. It was the more serious snags where something needed replacing that they would try to get out of.After 9 months we decided to move as the house wasn't right for us. Unfortunately, when we started looking there wasn't much on the market. For all the problems we had with our Morris Home we did like the style of houses and the development so we ended up buying another Morris on the same development. It was sort of like "better the devil you know" We went into it with our eyes open knowing what to expect hoping this would make the process a better experience and it was. There wasn't as many snags. They were quicker to respond. It felt like we were buying a house from a completely different builder. However, 14 months on we are back to the service we experienced with our first Morris house. Things they can't fix, excuse after excuse as to why things are the way they are. Being told "you'll never totally get rid of certain problems." Having to chase customer care. They treat their customers like they are stupid in the hope that they will accept their poor excuses. I would warn anybody that is thinking of buying a new home from them to do their homework and maybe talk to people who have already moved in. We have found out recently that the area around our house is not what Morris sold it as. If we had known the full facts we probably wouldn't have bought it. We voiced our concerns to them but it fell on deaf ears. They said we were told everything but we must have forgotten! It's quite odd really because no one on our road or surrounding roads knew about it. Buying a house is the single most expensive thing anyone will buy and to be told this is quite an insult. There is no way we would have forgotten. They didn't tell us and they are acting in a very underhand and dishonest way. Again, they are treating us like we are stupid.It really should have been a case of "once bitten, twice shy." The biggest mistake we ever did was setting foot in their sales office not just once but twice. I love my home. It's perfect for us. I just wish somebody else had built it. The only thing Morris Homes successfully do is disappoint.

We booked an appointment at Prince’s Meadows Kirkham. Our sales advisor Hannah was extremely welcoming and helpful. We arrived for our appointment and she talked us through what would be the best property to suit us. Hannah then showed us round the site, gave us a tour of a home we’re interested in. Finally she helped set us up with a mortgage advisor to help get the process started.

We were originally not looking to purchase a new build but after looking at Shelbourne Estates show homes at Hunsbury Grange we decided to cut out the chain and reserve a house. Lynne went above and beyond in helping us and when Lynne was not available Jess was also very helpful. There are a few small snagging issues and we are confident Scott and Ian will sort out effectively. I would highly recommend Shelbourne Estates

The service from Pam in sales has been amazing, from our first meeting to the day we got the keys. On-site builders (Anthony and his team) have also been fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure all works have been carried out. Great team and fab house builders 👍😃

House is nice, assistant site manager is great at fixing snags. Customer Care are awful. Incredibly slow response (weeks) to get a visit (months) and finally a repair (many months) that is not even of great quality. Clear faults are ignored; patio needed fully relayed due to all slabs wobbling, dining room is cold due to small radiators, heating clicks, floors squeak, cold pipes bang. All reported at the start of 2021 and none of it is yet fixed and no appointments even booked. Appalling.

This is an accolade regarding Nicky and the Houghton Grange development, at Shelbourne Estates development, St Ives.We popped in without appointment to view a property and Nicky made us very welcome. In fact she was exceptionally helpful, showing us around a house and explaining the layout of Houghton Grange, which is very impressive. In fact we couldn't be more impressed. And Nicky is a star!
