I'm a tenant with Sawyer and Co already for almost a year, from the beginning they were very helpful, all documents I signed with them online which was very easy and convenient way for such a busy person as me. Property had few faults but agency sorted them all. Flat didn't have a heating so my agent even negotiated this with the landlord and the heating was done, also they refreshed bathroom a bit, fixed my drafty windows and every time I needed something my agent responded very quickly, she is the best - Emma Marcantonio. I couldn't have chosen a better company to deal with. I needed a valuation to be done for Probate and therefore had to have 3 Valuations done with local Agents. Nick Daley did a valuation for me on behalf of Sawyer & Co and he stood out by far from the other Valuers. He was warm and friendly and gave some very helpful and professional advice which is what I needed at the time and was understanding of my situation. In the end I decided to go down the path of renting the property outbrather than selling and he introduced me to his colleagues on the Lettings side of the Company who were just as friendly and professional and commuted to meeting my requirements. My property was rented out within a couple of weeks and have been more than pleased with their Management services. What came over the most for me was that Sawyer & Co all work together as a team so they share successes jointly not individually which is very refreshing to see in the Estate Agency industry. Terrible block management and worse customer service

Abysmal block management service. Zero concern for health & safety, and totally unresponsive. A serious ceiling leak in my former rented flat lasted for 8 months (may be fixed by now, I had to move because of it), ending up with a gaping filthy 1m hole in the ceiling, but "limited budget" meant they were leaving months between updates. All the while my house was flooding each time it rained since October 2016. They still, bizarrely, responded to this complaint claiming that they "had not acted improperly". I consider a functional ceiling to be fairly fundamental, but from the reaction of Sawyer & Co block management services, it was as if I was asking for luxury. They're fine when things are going well, but they honestly cannot be trusted to care for properties. I would be disgusted if I owned that property, or any managed by Sawyer & Co. We have been living in our property managed by Sawyers and Co since Feb 2016, and since being assigned our own property manager, Jade, it has made things so much simpler. We know who to email/phone if there are any issues and it saves having to explain issues multiple times with just one main point of contact. Jade has always been very thorough, efficient and quick to deal with any issues that we have had, and it has made our experience a lot simpler. It is easy to contact her when issues arise and we have always had things sorted when necessary. Some less urgent things have taken a bit longer, but most of the time this was to do with the specific contractors and not the letting agents. From my experience, Saywer and co are very efficient compared to other letting agents, and Jade manages our property, well and in a friendly manner, which makes it much easier for us.

Eva at Sawyer & Co is very pleasant to deal with, courteous and attends to any queries that may arise. She has resolved in a timely fashion a couple of hiccups with our tenant and I always get a rapid response - often after normal working hours which is impressive! Well done!

I have worked with Sawyer and Co., since 2008 and am thrilled with their service. The Sawyer team answer my inquiries promptly and inform me of any tenant/property issues in the same fashion. I live abroad and am so grateful that I chose Sawyer to manage my property. Among some of the things I am most impressed with are the semi annual property inspections. The reports always provide a detailed description of the condition of the flat with photographs to bolster the report. My experience with Sawyer over the years has only been positive and I cannot recommend them strongly enough.

I have to say I've had a really pleasant experience with Sawyer's - from Toby who initially showed me around a property I'm about to move into, to Kerri Anne's professional and swift handling of the referencing procedure and then Harriet who has taken over from the referencing side of things - they've been fast, kept in touch, exceptionally polite and really nice to deal with. Moving house is extremely stressful with so many things to consider and many variables to endure so to have a letting team who are all skilled at making this process as easy as possible and to have warm, friendly and just plain good old fashioned customer service is a total game changer when you've had poor experiences elsewhere. I usually avoid estate agents but I would most definitely recommend this particular office to my friends and colleagues if they're considering a move in Brighton & Hove. Thanks!!!
