I have no hesitation at all in posting a 5 star +++ review.. Laura Purvor has been so great to work with…. Professional, practical, organized, prompt and a very positive can do attitude. You are not allowed to leave JD Wood Laura …. ever!! Honestly they are lucky to have someone of your calibre! Even though we didn’t deal with Lucy and Ashlee much when we did they were also great. Thank you all for making 'finding new tenants' a stress free experience.

Laura Purvor and her colleagues in the Chiswick office manage the letting of a flat in Chiswick for us. They have recently organised a very smooth change of tenant, with no void. Laura and the team are attentive, responsive and pleasant to deal with. I am also pleased with, and grateful for, the excellent service we receive from Samantha Jackson and her colleagues in the Property Management department of John D Wood, who look after any maintenance issues that arise. A good service all round.

Having known Julian for a long time when we had our house on the market years ago and helping our daughter and friends find their first time buys, I had no hesitation in going to John D Wood. On finding Julian now led the team it was even better. We had every confidence from start to finish on our sale with Julian always being frank, honest and down to earth with anything thrown at him and his team. They all quickly showed us they knew Chiswick like the back of their hands and were always professional and punctual at viewings and sympathetic to our nervous cat ensuring she never escaped! Must also say a big Thank you to Lydia for her lovely way she dealt with things and was rarely phased when things arose. Also to Will who tirelessly wore the stretch of pavement out between the office and our house and of course to Tracey for her endless chats and advice at those stressful moments. All in all we had a great experience from start to finish and if you're stuck for who to choose to sell with in W4 I'd start by contacting John D Wood.

Excellent service from Lucy and the team, it shows they truly care. With professionalism and compassion, Lucy helped me tremendously throughout the process and I have managed to move in a lovely place in just under one week from my viewing. The team has been extremely helpful and efficient in setting everything up and they have been constantly in touch to make sure I am well looked after. By far my best experience with an estate agent.

Nothing but praise for the team at JD Wood. I needed to find a new rental property at short notice, and Harry, Laura and Louise were incredibly efficient in making it happen. People who slate estate agents, obviously haven't worked with the Turnham Green team!

We have been so impressed by the diligence that William demonstrated in the selling of our family home. The process was protracted but William kept us updated and encouraged that in the end we would achieve our sale. Just sold house through JDW, and it was a mercifully smooth operation mainly thanks to Will Rothery and his calm, and organised approach. His communication at all times through the process was excellent - with texts confirming viewings and verbal feedback after. Very accommodating and patient and always at the end of the phone if needed. Excellent service all round.

Buying a property has been, without doubt, the most stressful thing I’ve ever done, and it would have been far worse without Will. He has been outstanding at managing expectations, chasing all the relevant parties, and generally keeping me sane throughout the process. The service has been excellent, and I would highly recommend him and John D Wood & Co.

From start to finish, we have received a totally flawless service at JD Wood. Julian was fantastic when he came round for the initial valuation, Lydia was brilliant with viewings, but special mention goes to Will Rothery who was phenomenal throughout. He conducted viewings, fielded offers, handled negotiations and provided calm, measured support right up until completion. I have no hesitation in recommending J D Wood Estate Agents.

My partner and I were passively looking to upgrade from our existing flat and had some specific requirements if we were to move. We viewed and ultimately ended up letting a property through John D Wood via Lucy. Lucy was exceptional throughout the process including handover and ensuring inquiries were dealt with in a timely manner shortly after moving in. We viewed and paid a deposit all within 24 hours of viewing the property all with timely and constant communication. This was the second property that we had let while being abroad and I must say, the entire process went seamlessly and reassured us throughout. Any questions that we had were handled on the spot and if they weren't, they came back to us asap. The only slight downer on this experience was the fact the landlord wanted to add in a clause to increase the rent by 2-5% (after 12 months) less than 48 hours before we were due to fly in from Portugal and move in on the same day. This was after we'd signed the contract and paid all the required money. I don't hold John D Wood accountable for this as this is a landlords decision, however, I would have expected them to push back as this felt like it was negotiated in bad faith and seems unfair. Noting we had signed a 24 month contract with an 18-month break. That aside, I look forward to working with Lucy and the wider team of John D Wood in the future.

I was extremely impressed with the sales team in the Chiswick office. I have had previous, extremely negative experiences with other local agents, however, I can confidently state that the team here are professional, dedicated, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They sold our house in Bedford Park in a quiet period of the market, just after the stamp duty holiday had ended, however at no point did I feel the difficult task of achieving our desired sales price within our specified time-frames was too much to handle, and the advice we received from Julian their Branch Sales Manager was simply exemplary! A special thanks must also go to Lydia, who secured our sale, and put in a serious shift! George one of the other members of the team was also a pleasure to deal with. I would encourage anyone considering a sale, to reach out and speak with these professionals, you will not be disappointed! Thank you #teamchiswick!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I chose John D Wood to market and sell my home because branch manager, Julian Masson, was very knowledgeable and impressive from the valuation stage. Julian and his team were helpful, friendly and effective throughout each of the following steps of the sale - from the initial photography session to viewings and negotiations through to the conveyancing process. I'd definitely recommend them - they have a great local reputation and come across as genuine, down-to-earth people who are very good at what they do. Thanks guys! :)

Julian Mason, the branch manager, was very professional in his dealings on this property. The information we received was always correct and straightforward . He was acting for the Seller and I was acting for the Purchasers. There were various twists and turns due to personal circumstances of the Seller and Buyers but with an open dialogue between all parties facilitated by Julian, we were able to exchange on the property last week. His patience and clarity of the position at each turn was crucial to being able to work towards a satisfactory conclusion. It has been a pleasure to work with him on this purchase. Georgina

From the initial valuation with Julian, John D Wood were fantastic! We dealt with Julian & Lydia, then Will when he joined and I’m very happy we chose them They were professional, knowledgeable & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Buying and selling would have been a lot more stressful without them. We definitely recommend them and will use them for our next property sale. Thank you
