I wanted to view a house. I was asked about my financial position and pushed to see their recommended mortgage broker and solicitor services. I said I had my own and it is all lined up so I'm not interested in using yours.

GoogleHorrendous experience with them at the end of last year. They were lining me up to move into a property feb 2025, but due to a temporary tenant being signed in under false pretences and then changing his mind about how long he wanted to stay, I was forced to discuss with foxtons. For one, they didn't even notify me themselves about the change in moving in, leaving it to the current tenants to tell me. When contacting them about the issue, they were more than happy to sweep me under the rug and essentially say doss off. Didn't even offer to help me find alternate accommodation, and just said this was the way things were. The two people here who I was in contact with were Dhirren and Partha, so avoid them, and preferably this whole company, if you want to avoid headaches with no help.

Our experience with Foxtons has been nothing short of frustrating. From the very beginning, communication was poor. Before moving in, emails went unanswered or delayed, and once we raised urgent issues like a serious mold problem, it was not addressed in a timely manner. We also went without heating for weeks in the winter before finally being given a few space heaters as a stop-gap.

I trusted Foxtons to manage my property professionally. They found the tenants, collected commission (2 months rent per year) and management fees, and were contractually obligated to inspect and monitor my home. They failed on every count.

I have give the deposit for one house after 2 weeks I sign the contract and I recive call from agent with one responding: Sorry you are failed in bank statements. This situation si very stressfully for me and my family. I have tell to my lawyer to go back for this chase because his make me sick.

Foxtons’s account’s department have bad ethical practices.The charged me as a landlord 3 years commission & after six months again charged me 2 years commission for the same property.when I complained they credited part of the commission but after a week they recharged me some more commission.As the tenant rent is deposited directly into Foxtons’s account I cannot do much about it and am finally taking them to court for fraudulent activity.

GoogleIf I could give this company zero stars, I would. Despite signing the lease one month in advance, once they had our deposit, there was absolutely zero communication leading up to move in day and we were handed keys to a filthy flat, the move in inspection conducted by a third party was 114 pages long. Immediately, Foxtons was contacted about the lack of cleanliness and cleaners were sent a few hours later who completed a surface level job. An inspection of the appliances was not carried out before move in as several are it functioning including the washing machine. Five days later and we are still not sleeping in our flat. Be sure to have a hotel on standby if you rent with Foxtons.

The worst and the most disgusting service ever! They agreed with a young lady and her elderly parents on my property for renting even though I had rejected the application.
