Went to 5 independent property valuation companies. Each valued my property within a different range of £10k+/- this being £830k-£840k, Zoopla valuation was £600k.

I know the properties in the area where I live very well. Looking at them and taking into account the improvements that people have made, the number of rooms, bathrooms, garages etc. Then taking into account the way they are maintained, the amount of land and the position of the property. In my opinion the valuation provided on Zoopla range from not quite right to totally inaccurate.

Liked everywhere being in one place, only issue I found was that soon as it appeared in the website, was no available appointment slots to view. This could the site or agents site and also the fact that there are around 100 people going for each rental place in my city. But overall, liked the website and was the easiest to use

I receive notices of houses for sale that are not suitable for me, i.e. I asked for 3/4 bedroom houses and bungalows, detached or semi-detached, and I receive news of terraced houses and two bedroomed houses, which are of no interest to me.Also my price trange is around £500,000-£600,000 and I receive properties costing £1,000,000, which is inappropriate.Please change my profile.

I have in the past notified Zoopla of improvements to my home and had the valuation updated. This now appears to have been removed and I have no way to complain when shortly after putting the house up for sale the Zoopla value dropped by 50k making the house look a bad buy. As the house is not selling I have little reason to use Zoopa.

Zoopla advert makes me laugh, I live in 1 bed council bungalow according to zoopla it's worth £595,000, 4 bed detached property opposite with private grounds of 1 acre was sold for £475,000. They are a total joke.
