We have used Kimmit & Roberts twice now and the customer service all of the way through has been fantastic! The communication is fast and also backed up with text and email. Viewing feedback is thorough and quick, even as a buyer we found they were so much faster at organising viewings than other estate agents. I would highly recommend. I would never rent a property off this company again. They never do repairs to their properties, my shower has not worked for the last six months. And if you want to move into another rental property they charge £30 for a reference. And they are in and out of your home every 3 months doing property inspections and taking photos of you belongings. Since I work full time and have a decent job with a good income I found this very intrusive especially when you are paying top dollar for a property. UPDATE.... On leaving the property I had with kimmitt they tried to claim £160 for cleaning and said I did not leave the property in a satisfactory condition. DPS only awarded them £27 to clean a stain on a carpet that was already there when I moved in. I managed to get most of my £750 bound back.

Not sure these guys want to do business. I rang to view a property to buy and viewings were only on specific weekdays and office hours. Erm, what about people who work who can't time off? Then saw a nice one to rent. Advertised as being available from a specific day. Then told couldn't view it until that day. So why advertise it 5 weeks in advance when I needed something asap? Totally trapped in a timewarp of mediocrity. Like estate agents from 1971!

I had several local agents out, like my friend said I should after she sold her house recently in Middlesbrough. The man who came out from Kimmitt's clearly knew more than the others about the local market. I decided to just go with them not sure that the others should deal with my move. Everything happened like they said it would. Can't praise Amy enough kept me up to date throughout and when things got complicated her and Jonathan really made it all happen. It's true that you get what you pay for. I never write bloody reviews but we owe our move to these guys!

At the beginning it was great, offered on a house, and I was excited to view the property. On the day when I was going to view it, my appointment (after many confirmations of the viewing) was cancelled, as the seller decided not to give us (us who offered immediately once the house was listed) chance to see the house. We were not the first ones who got the chance to see the house, but somebody else. The agent /Tracy/ who called me was so arrogant, and didn't care about our concern. It's a devastating experience, a real nightmare. Other agents (Jen) were more understanding and I felt their empathy. Im at the point when I'm scared to buy a house because all I can see that everything happens in the sellers favour and they are more appreciated than potential buyers.

Poor communication throughout selling house. Apart from initial photographs and arranging viewings, we did not hear from them unless I contacted them. Also, the eventual buyers of our property came knocking at our door themselves as Kimmitt and Roberts had not arranged the viewing when asked. From then on, we have not once heard from Kimmitt and Roberts regarding how the sale was progressing. Very poor communication. Would have expected more or at least some updates etc
