Exceptional Service!Kimmitt & Roberts Are Far Superior to the Rest. I quickly realized that this estate agent is completely different from the rest in Houghton. Having previously contacted two other local agents in the area, both of whom were slow and failed to reply to emails and calls Jonny Roberts was incredibly quick to respond to my initial request, he and his team are true professionals but deeply personable, providing a refreshing change from the other time-wasting estate agents in Houghton. Within just two days, Jonny had viewed my property and provided a realistic valuation. Less than a week after hitting the market, his team arranged a viewing for a first-time buyer who offered the full asking price! The entire process of selling my home has been fantastic. I faced major issues finding a solicitor to expedite the sale, which became highly problematic. However, Jonny went completely out of his way to find me a replacement. This went well beyond the level of service I initially expected. The staff at the Kimmitt and Roberts Houghton office were excellent at every single point. I want to express my sincere appreciation to Jen, Tracy, and Ashleigh from the Houghton-le-Spring office. Jen made arranging viewings incredibly easy, and the whole team was super helpful, constantly going above and beyond to ensure I was kept up to date. If you are looking to buy or sell, there is no need to look any further. Rest assured, you are in the absolute best hands!

Ashleigh was very helpful and informative when we had our viewing and helped us out greatly when it came to offering on the property. Kimmitt and Roberts have been fantastic to deal with in the entire process of buying our first house. From the first viewing with Ashleigh I realised this estate agents is different to the rest. Ashleigh was absolutely lovely- professional but personable- and came prepared with a wealth of information ready to give me, unlike with other companies where trying to get the same details has been like pulling teeth. Arranging further viewings through Jen was easy and it was nice that we got the continuity of Ashleigh doing these each time. Jen herself was super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were kept up to date (even texting me when she realised her emails kept getting sent to my junk no matter what I did to try and stop it) and it was lush to put a face to the name when I went to pick the keys up. We’re going to be happy in our new home for many years, but as and when we are ready to move on I will absolutely be using Kimmitt and Roberts! If you’re looking to buy or sell then rest assured you’re in good hands. And you’ll probably get more help and sense from these amazing professionals than your solicitor. We’d have been lost without you, thank you!

Fantastic service from start to finish. Jonny came out to measure up and advise on costs etc. I liked his honesty in the pricing evaluation, he didn't try to set an unrealistic price which meant that the house sold on the second viewing after just 6 days on the market. Laurie and her colleagues were superb in keeping us informed throughout all stages which meant we always felt two steps ahead of the game. Our agent Chantel has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish, we had quite a difficult time and she made the process so much easier for us, always finding out information and keeping up to date, very friendly and approachable and just always on the ball! I can’t rate this estate agent highly enough. They have been amazing! Not a word I use often but in this case it is true. Our contact within the branch was outstanding-Chantel was not only very informative, polite and very competent but also certainly went above and beyond for us. I don’t think we would have completed if it wasn’t for her. We had no/very little communication from our solicitors and constantly had to badger them. However the communication from this agent was exceptional & outstanding. It was very difficult for us as we were buying in Hetton but currently live in South Yorkshire- so couldn’t just drop in to find out what was happening. Couldn't be happier with the service we received. We had a couple of estate agents out to value our property. The chap that came out was really friendly and very knowledgeable of the area etc, much better than the lady from the other estate agent who just bragged about how many houses she has sold in the area and generally just got my back up. I decided to list with only kimmit and Roberts. House went live on the website 3pm on a Friday afternoon and by 4pm they called and had someone interested. Viewing was arranged for the Wednesday evening. House was sold for asking price the following morning. They have been brilliant following that with advice with solicitors and just following everything through. It's the first time I've sold my house and I don't plan on doing it again but if I did then kimmit and Roberts would be my first call. Thank you to you all
