GoogleThis review concerns rental team in Horsham. Before the end of my tenancy agreement I received a notice of moving out because, quote from the agent:"the owner sold the flat". I asked- "how could the owner have sold the flat, if there was not a single viewing? Did somebody come to view when I was away?" The agent then had to retract from this lie saying that the owner wanted to reclaim the flat.
Subsequent to this, they notified me about termination of the agreement, but didn't allow to vacate the flat any sooner, and as a consequence I lost few chances of securing few flats in Horsham (and they don't come by often). Then - because of my inconvenient questions, they sent me automated replies to my emails, few days after my initial messages, which is another testimony of their ignorance and spiteful behaviour.
Last, but not least, they removed me from their lists of viewers (viewings that I booked via them, and they told me they had put me on those lists!). And this was without a single word of notification, or any apologies. They've done that simply because they don't want me to leave before the end of the agreement. Very rough treatment from their staff. I am very disappointed that a seemingly reputable company like Cubitt and West is capable of such dirty games. I don't recommend.

Reply to Cubitt and West message: And how does your reassurance about helping me to find a new property aligns with the fact that you consequently remove me from your lists of viewers? I even raised a complaint regarding this. You are being deceitful. I spoke with my friend who found herself in exactly the same situation (owner decided to sell the flat, and she was served a notice), but lucky for her, she was with a different agent, and they allowed her to vacate the property when she found something suitable, even though there were 4 months remaining on her tenancy contract!
