GoogleExcellent service from Chalk Street. Whilst the chain was short due to the time differences of the people at the bottom of the chain it was imperative to keep on top of the pending transaction. Mandy Bootle remained persistent and professional to ensure the deal was completed. Would highly recommend them again ! Thank you

I would have no hesitation in recommending Chalk Street Estates. They have recently secured a sale of my property whilst also helping me search for a new home. Everyone at Chalk Street has been extremely friendly but at the same time very professional and knowledgeable. In no particular order , special mention goes to Jack , Faye and Lois who I have mainly dealt with to date. Their pricing structure is also extremely competitive. Keep up the good work. Thanks L

Misleading the customers, as I have to pull out of a sale of my property as I couldn't meet buyer demands, and I was presented with £480.00 bills, but never this company presented me this facts at the time that I signed the contract with them "NO SALE NO FEETS" this isn't a crystal clarity of a professional well runner business.
Hello Domingo.We are disappointed to have received such a review considering we have already covered this on several occasions.You failed to mention multiple relevant points in your review and whilst we do not believe it is constructive to highlight such in great detail, in this instance, and for the benefit of the wider public, we do believe a brief response to your review is necessary.Firstly, we pride ourselves on being transparent so given the fee for any major contract breach is clearly stated in our terms of business, and is highlighted when signing, we strongly refute your statement regarding misleading customers.With respect to ‘I couldn’t meet the buyers demands’, this is simply untrue. We agreed a sale of your property over five months ago, achieving full asking price from a non-dependant buyer. Since this time, after informing the buyer that you would vacate, you later changed your mind and wanted to link in a purchase. This was after the buyer was financially committed and close to exchange of contracts. You went abroad for a month without notice, adding significant delay to the conveyancing process then pulled out of your onward purchase approximately two months later. Finally, it was your decision to cancel the sale of your home despite the buyer still wanting to proceed, at great expense to both your buyer and us.

This is the second time I have sold a property through Chalk street . Both times they have been professional , helpful and with me every step of the way . I also like the set fee so that you know exactly what you are paying from the offset (which is also cheaper than other agents as a bonus). Mandy the sales progresser was always available whenever I called or answered my emails immediately. Cannot recommend highly enough and if I move again I would use them without a thought . GoogleAttitude for agents in this establishment are appalling. I feel for the people who list thier property with this branch. Due to the rude attitude and false stories. I have worked with several estate agents to purchase properties in the hornchurch area and Chalk Street are the worst of the bunch. Now chalk Street won't get a penny from me. I feel sorry for the vendors in rm12 who will potentialy loose buyers due to the rudeness of Chalk Street. I also forgot to mention that the agent advised not to call them for properties that are on the market with them. WHAT ESTATE AGENT SAYS THIS??... CHALK STREET ESTATE AGENT DOES! Hornchurch branch should be shut down.
To qualify this 'review' we can confirm that you failed to show up to a viewing as arranged, with no attempt to inform us that you were unable to make it. The vendor (our client) subsequently advised that they did not wish to take a further viewing from yourself due to the huge inconvenience this no-show caused them. Therefore, we are acting on behalf of our customer's wishes in this instance.

GoogleHelpful knowledgeable staff always ready to help, can't fault this agent sold from first coming onto market to handing over keys only 10 weeks, and that was with a buyer pulling out ! superb service and such a reasonable cost to us. Best in the area no doubt would recommend without hesitation. 2024 update. Just as reliable just as competitive in price. Just sold another house for me, got the job done, and no fuss . Quick efficient communication brilliant. Simply the best property selling service out there

8 Week Turnaround!!! I completed on my first home last week and Chalk Street Estates couldn't have made it any easier. Linda was always on top of everything and I was able to complete within 8 weeks, which in the current climate is unbelievable! Highly recommend CSE and will most definitely use them again in the future.

In terms of value for money they are excellent, if you are selling in Havering you would be mad to use another agent, especially a more expensive one!
