A relatively straightforward purchase (no chain, house in good condition), but the seller did have some issues with technology and communications. Julie and the team really went the extra mile guiding her through the process and always kept us informed.

Right, where do we start? We recently used the Bairstow Eves team in Hornchurch for a property purchase. The team here have literally gone above and beyond to help us with our purchase. We had issues with our solicitors but with the help of Abbie, she got it done. Abbie has been very professional, yet friendly, and made the whole process smooth and informative. Julie, the manager, also played an active part and was helpful. I also have to mention Charlotte and Donna as excellent staff. But again, we have to say thank you to Abbie again as she really did make this process a lot more easier than previous experiences. The whole team are an asset to Bairstow Eves and are highly recommended

I felt unfairly judged by the female agent because one partner isn’t working. Under the Equality Act 2010, estate agents must treat everyone fairly and without discrimination. Renting decisions should be based on affordability, not assumptions. Her behaviour and failure to call back were unprofessional and disrespectful.

I was concerned that they would be annoyed, but they were quite the opposite.
