Worst estate agent! They're only interested in getting the money from the tenant and not if someone has a complaint about the tenant. Have had a nightmare since the new tenants have moved in, noisy at all times of night. Cooking very smelly foods at all hours, knowing there is an issue with ventilation. My personal belongings have now been ruined as the food smells have stuck dispite washing ect. Smoking in the property despite it being against the tenancy agreement. Stags have done the bare minimum to solve any of this. They have now stopped replying to my emails as they clearly don't want to bother with me or the issues now. If you are thinking about letting out your property don't use stags, they will essentially let the tenants ruin your property despite multiple complaints from multiple residents. Have had to get the council involved about the noise as stags don't want to know!

They just wasted my time. Plymouth branch sent someone to do written valuation for Court of Protection requirement, which was explained to them before they came. They came & did a good job for a verbal valuation BUT then failed to deliver a promised report or communicate properly with my attempts to obtain said report over the next month or so!

GoogleI can only say positive things about my experience with dealing with the Honiton office of Stags. From the start they were great with communication between all parties and everything was done quickly and efficiently. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and Camilla was really superb throughout the whole process. Having spoken to and dealt with lots of other estate agents over the months of searching for a property, I would definitely say Honiton Stags are one of the best one's I encountered and I would highly recommend.

Stags of Yeovil have been brilliant for us. Ashton met us for the property viewing and allowed us space to view it at our on pace and moments where my husband and I could privately discuss our thoughts as we went along and I was very grateful for that. Michelle and I were in regular contact at the office, throughout the experience and she was friendly and helpful, always happy to answer my questions or respond promptly by email. Stags estate agents are rude, racist, unprofessional and underhand in ever way they do business! In particular George at the Exeter branch is very unprofessional, we are going legal on them and will hopefully expose some very underhand practices.

GoogleI would think very carefully before taking on this company whether its selling your house or working for them. The Fee's they charge are for nothing any other agent doesn't door can't do, and certainly does not go towards the individual's that do do their very best to give that extra service. This company has a strong sense of untrustworthy, disrespectful and unfair treatment dependant on your sex, STILL! The company are left behind due to their 'old fashioned ways'. They are in need of some modern input in the management/(overcrowded) partnership.
We are sorry that your time with Stags did not work out but we wish you all the best in the future.

Where do I start? They valued our land badly, too short staffed to do anything professionally, didn't even pass on a really good pre-auction offer, uploaded fake bids up to the reserve, forgot to upload the documents in the legal pack and missed the all important Transfer which the buyer then refused to sign. Complete farce and it's probably immoral at best to have two Stags people pretending to bid against each other up to the reserve. Wouldn't touch with a barge pole

GoogleI have both let and sold property through Stags. Throughout both procedures I have found the manner of the staff unfailingly decent, cheerful and helpful. They address your brief and appreciate issues that arise, from both a human and a professional standpoint, offering sound advice from their years of experience. Both processes have their inevitable ups, downs and challenges but these have been approached in a professional, thoughtful and constructive manner. They listen with care and don’t stint on the time they give you in discussing details as they arise, adapting process according to the developing situation. Really helpfully, in particular circumstances, Camilla also willingly volunteered to go ‘the extra mile’ in helping beyond the usual call of duty. Attempting to sort out the most appropriate agent for what can be an emotionally charged business, can be tricky. If you would like to deal with a person and not just an agent, do try Stags.

Never have we been treated with such underhand and cruel behaviour. We rented a house via Stags in March 2020. We have just moved out. 3 and a half years of absolute purgatory. Not one single issue was addressed by Stags or the landlords during our tenancy. These included but not limited to: Scolding hot water from day one, Ridiculous electricity bills due to faulty water heating system, 2 Ombudsman cases with electricity suppliers, Property classified as commercial from a supply standpoint, Electricity being delivered to outbuildings not rented to us, Dangerous telegraph pole in the garden, Dangerous internal wiring, just avoided a fire, Falsified EPC rating outside of what is permitted to rent, Fraudulent re classification to a permitted EPC rating with no actual site attendance, currently in the hands of the regulatory body, Water system overheating, leaking and destroying the kitchen ceiling, Kitchen ceiling also falling down due to uninsulated tin roof causing severe damp, Both wood burning stoves needing work that the landlords refused to carry out therefore unusable, 2 working heaters disconnected on instruction of the landlord by his electrician claiming to attend for another reason on a freezing cold day. Hundreds of emails, a site meeting, and even recorded delivery letters all completely ignored by Stags and the landlords. 1 star is far too high a rating.
