I’m really impressed with the service I have received from Avant Homes. All of the team at Purbeck Village have been very helpful and friendly throughout the whole process especially Hollie who has done a great job at keeping me informed during the Lockdown which has delayed my move. During this stressful time, Hollie and Christine were very reassuring and now I’m really looking forward to being able to move to my lovely new house in a few weeks time. 😃

We are very pleased with what we hope to be our forever home. Natalie from Avant Homes at Danetre Place was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. Paperwork was chased throughout the whole process which helped with the smooth chain and finally completion of our new house. We’ve been living in our new house for a couple of months now and not had any issues. We are very pleased with the overall finish and build quality of our new house.We have very minor snagging issues which is expected with any new house but Laura at Customer Service keeps in contact with us regularly and we are sure these issues will be sorted once the restrictions of lockdown are lifted. If your thinking of buying a new build I would definitely recommend Avant Homes

Excellent - Hawfinch Place, Avant Homes. Brilliant Homes, Great Teams, Fantastic Experience

The whole experience with Avant has been excellent. Starting with the sales teamLead by Beth at Hawfinch Place, they kept us up to date every step of the way, ensured we were comfortable with our decisions at each stage, and were on hand to answer any questions we had.After completion the site team lead by Ben kept in regular contact to make sure everything was going smoothly and to ask if we had any issues. Most problems we found were small and resolved within a few days and others that have taken longer have only done so because of COVID-19. Ben was even kind enough to source some carpet protectors for us on moving day.The central customer services teams have been great, again keeping regular contact with us even during lockdown to ensure everything has been okay. They’re responsive and helpful when issues are raised and have ensured quick turnarounds where possible.The build itself is great. The finish and quality of everything from the paint on the walls to the look of the kitchen and bathrooms is excellent. There has been cracking around the bannister and some door frames but these were expected with a new build and can easily be repaired. Importantly there have been no issues that have been dangerous, structurally critical or extremely aesthetically unpleasing, and that extends beyond our home to the wider site which has been kept tidy and secure (apart from the wind picking up a bit of sand and dirt - can’t really help that).Overall we are very happy here in our new home, and would heartily recommend Avant to those looking for a new build property, especially the Hawfinch Place site. They do say that moving is the most stressful thing you can ever do, but in our experience that simply hasn’t been true - I’ve only done it the once so I’ll leave it to you to decide if that’s because of Avant or luck, but either way we enjoyed the experience, love our new home, and are looking forward to living as a family together here for the years to come.

A pleasure from beginning to end. We love our new Avant home, it is completed to such a high standard and is everything we wanted! Hollie in the sales office has been amazing, so lovely and incredibly helpful and most importantly, always did what she said she would do. The great customer service doesn't stop even after completion!

We were first time buyers and reserved our plot on the ten locks quarter development in June 2019, with an estimated completion months of October to December 2019. We'd had our eyes on Avant homes since 2017 and often went into the sales office to keep up with the development at Foxton Place. Close friends of ours had purchased a home with Avant on the development and had a good experience, so we finally decided to reserve a property at Ten Locks Quarter. Kath, our sales advisor was absolutely wonderful throughout our customer journey. She wasn't pushy or sales orientated which we loved, as when visiting other developers the sales person would apply so much pressure it put us off buying with them! Kath was straight forward, honest & informative which helped us keep level headed during this stressful time. We had one issue with the property but this was quickly resolved and we were kept up to date with the properties progress by Kath. We moved in start of February 2020 and the after sales team, Laura, Richard and Graham have been great. Our minor snags were completed by Graham within days! Avant are so lucky to have an amazing team at Ten Lock Quarter and Kath, Graham, Richard & Laura are a credit to your company. We love that they often check in to see how we are getting on which we appreciate! I hope they get the recognition they deserve for their hard work, dedication and exceptional service. We also loved the welcome package on move in day, lovely touch! Sales & Site Customer service - Amazing, House standard - Amazing. We love our first ever home so thank you!

We are delighted with our new home

We are delighted with our new home in Acomb, Northumberland. It took a while to achieve the purchase (8 months) due to delays in selling our previous home but the wait has been worth it. During this frustrating period the sales staff, Yvonne, Susan and Victoria were very supportive. We feel very comfortable in the house, the plot and in the village and don't look backwards despite spending 22 happy years in our previous home. A few minor faults were found when we moved in but were dealt with very quickly indeed by site manager Darren and help with removal of packaging - inevitable in a new house - was very welcome. However that speed in correcting these minor faults has slowed to a stop. The bi-fold doors - a major feature of the design - have scratches and we have been assured that they will be dealt with but, 3 months on, have not. However, the layout of the house, the space, the features and the extras all suit us really well.

Good customer service - snagging issues get resolved

Bought an Avant property straight off plan at City Fields, Wakefield. Been in my home coming up to 20 months now. Couple of snagging issues as to be expected with a new build, largely around the bi-fold doors (which are a great feature to the home but weren’t installed correctly) It took 3 separate occasions to sort but I’ve found the customer service team to be very responsive, in particular Shelby who is attentive and has always arranged for the appropriate work to be done .You hear a lot of horror stories about new build homes across all the developers but I honestly think some people’s expectations are far too unrealistic. All in all love my home.

Shelton Village Experience

Myself and my partner just bought a new build at Shelton Village and have had an overall positive experience so far! The sales experience was great, we dealt with Rob who was really amazing at keeping us up to date and helping with any queries we had.The house overall has not had any major issues/snags, and snags can only be expected for a man made house! We did feel like when we moved in a few things were missed that we raised in the home demo so they could get us in quicker, however both the site manager and Zara the customer rep have been really quick to get any snags we have raised so far sorted. Still a few things to do and some chasing required, but we have only been in a few weeks. Everyone I have dealt with has been really lovely.

Me and my partner just reserved our home in stockton (summerville). We booked an appointment for the early afternoon but unfortunately due to work commitments we were late, however Vicki who waited an extra 45 minutes for us to arrive which was nice as we were desperate to view the property, she was very polite and informative when it came to the property and explained in detail the process, the plans, when the work would be finished, explained if there was any issues to let her know, reassured us if any problems who to contact regarding if any issues were found or if we were not happy, so far a very welcoming and informative process for what for a lot of people when buying their first home can be a daunting time in buying their first home

What an absolute shower of a company

What an absolute shower of a company, our new house was flooded due to avants shoddy contractors putting a wrong part on the mains water - then they've left us 7 months without rectifying. Customer service ignore you, liaison officers complete muppets that talk the talk but carry no clout at all. Do not buy from these cowboys - seriously!!!! Looking like Christmas in a shack as they're still not helping us, only been in 18 months and 7 of those spent living like a refugee because avant just ignore. Please take note people

Very Happy at Fitzwilliam Grange

After a chance 'drive-by' viewing in September at the Fitzwilliam Grange site, I have had great service from Lynsey and Lucy from sales, all the way to completion 5 months later. New team of efficient staff

This review relates to the complaints department, and in particular Matthew, Caroline and Laura. We love our house and having bought a new build before we knew that you get issues and snags within the first couple of years. While Avant were still on site they were fairly good at sorting out little bits, but once they left it was rare to see them about. I had raised an issue a while ago and heard nothing so logged a complaint, and within 24 hours Matthew had got back to me and booked a site visit for the same week with Laura and Caroline. The ladies have been this afternoon and they were very helpful, Laura sorted a couple of minor bits while she was here and Caroline made detailed notes about our concerns. I have every confidence that they will remedy our issues and have been really pleased with how our complaint has been dealt with. Thank you.I would add that we have lived in our Avant home for nearly two years and we absolutely love it. The layout is fantastic for a young family and we have not been plagued with issues like others have reported.
