Matt was absolutely brilliant. We were let down twice by buyers last minute before exchange, however with Matt's professional approach we managed to get a new buyer and complete before the stamp duty deadline. Without your help, constant chasing of solicitors and always keeping us updated, this would not have happened. You have really helped us move to our dream family home and we cannot thank you enough. I have dealt with a lot of estate agents. A lot. You know the kind: greasy, car-salesman-style, promise you the earth while grinning and guiding your hand to the signature line. "You'll be sold by next week! We'll get you more than the asking price, then we'll find you the house of your DREAMS for a steal!" Etc, etc. Paul Wallace Hoddesdon are so incredibly different. They're realistic, they listen to you, they pay attenetion and then they get the job done. No scare tactics. No flashy sales pitch. No dazzling jargon. They are a breath of fresh air. Truly the good guys in the estate agent world of questionable morals and shady ethics. They are honest and they are reliable. Speacial thanks to Joe Solazzo. He was a true professional. Even when accosted with calls to his personal mobile from a hysterical, hormonal woman, often several times a day. (Including on his days off.) He never faltered. Always polite. Always helpful. This was my first time purchasing a property and found it really hard understanding everything that was going on. As well as this my solicitor wasn’t helpful at all and kept delaying everything. When I spoke to Joe he went above and beyond to help me understand everything that was going on and how I could try to speed up the process. It was one of the hardest and most experiences in my life. However joe made it so much better. He’s kind helpful and understanding personality was outstanding and should definitely be recognised.

I would like to thank Paul Wallace and their team for their assistance and support when I recently sold my property privately and purchased my next property with them. In particular, Joe was amazing. More often than not, when I called, he was available and if not, I was confident that I would not have to wait long after leaving a message for a response. As this was the first time that I had purchased a new build and also the first time I was moving alone I had many queries! If unable to solve any of my questions, Joe would contact my seller, buyer, their conveyancers or basically anyone else that would provide an answer. I feel that the most important thing that made my sale, purchase and move a success was the support and advice I was given. Joe would contact me immediately with any issues that might hinder progress. Resolutions were put in place swiftly, this included helping with my sale, which Paul Wallace did not need to assist with at all. Including this move, I have bought and sold 8 properties. There were quite a few complications with this one, but with Joe going over and above what he needed to do, I ended up in my dream, (hopefully forever) home. I can confidently say that Joe and the Paul Wallace team are the best that I have worked with, (or worked for me). Thank you to everyone at Paul Wallace, each of you were there to listen and help me throughout the process and I would highly recommend you to anyone considering the sale or purchase of their property.

We have been very impressed! We used Paul Wallace to sell our Dad’s house when it went to probate. Peter Adams was a sympathetic face at a difficult time and wasn’t pushy at all. Peter Gold gave us great advice on price and marketing during a difficult Dec 22/ Jan 23 market. The property went to best and final bids with three offers! Joe did a good job of progressing the sale through to completion. Great team effort with great team communication through a WhatsApp group with all staff and myself and my brothers.

When Paul Leadley told me that all the agents in the agency would be able to help me, so I wouldn't have to worry about only one person being able to handle my sale, he was absolutely right. However, Steve Payne was the agent who dealt with my sale from start to finish and when he was on holiday the other agents did not drop the ball at all. Having known of Paul Wallace for decades, when the need for a valuation and sale of a local property arose I contacted them. The valuation was fair ( and not over egged just to get the instruction ) and I proceeded with them. Peter Gold was my main contact there but other members of the team were also involved in the subsequent sale. All aspects of the procedure were handled in a most professional, friendly and helpful manner by everybody concerned resulting in an almost seamless sale. I highly rate this estate agents. Further, I have dealt with many law firms over the years but in this instance i decided to go with P Wallace`s suggested solicitor Robert Dawson of Barnes & Partners. This man is perfect example of how an acting solicitor should be and without the need to ever go to his office he over saw the sale without fault. The client is continually updated ( without needing to ask ) , he contacts you when he says he will, he answers questions when asked and his charge was fair and reasonable. You cannot ask for a better service from either the Estate Agent or the acting Solicitor. Hence it is a First Class Rating for both from a client well versed in property transactions.
