5 stars doesn't do David, Katie and the team at Taylors in Swindon justice, David was an absolute legend when it came to letting my house out, no only did he take excellent photographs, full listing details, my property went on their website on a Friday and Monday morning I had a call to say a Let had been agreed, rent payments have been on time every month, any questions I've had have been answer quickly.When we came to list my wife's house ready for our move we went straight to David, I didn't think it was possible to beat last time but they had a let agreed the same day we instructed them.David should be well on the way to winning Letting Agent of the year (if such a thing exists!)If your considering letting out your home - use Taylor's it's as simple as that!

Avoid like a plague

Horrendous Lettings agency, ready to gulp down entire of your deposit, that's their game. You cant escape, so if possible dont get into it. Anyone struggling can consult me, shall let you know how to extract every last legitimate money that you deserve to be returned. I took them to the adjudicator and won.

We recently sold our shared ownership property through Taylors in Hitchin and throughout the whole process we where continuously provided with excellent customer service and truly felt that they had our best interests at heart. Despite a couple of complications throughout the sale it was clear that they truly were doing everything possible in order to get the property exchanged and completed for us we were continously kept informed both with Feedback and Sales progress updates. It was a great pleasure to deal with Taylors Hitchin. Being a first time buyer Lorna was very helpfull, provided me with great advice and found me a great mortgage deal. I would highly recommend her for mortgage advice. I would also like to thank the branch manager Chris and sales advisor Matthew for helping me with my purchase as they provided a great service. [Bradley Stoke Branch] Unprofessional! Last minute change in move-in date and late contract drafting, both only 2 days before the agreed move-in date, even though referencing was cleared at least 3 weeks beforehand.At check-in, they couldn't provide the correct house front door key. Embarrassing! Inventory report was not shared at check-in despite promised to have it sent on check-in day. Only shared when chased.Multiple maintenance issues including Health & Safety issues (which they don't agree), none are fixed after three weeks despite regular chasing. No one in the property management team nor the branch team are proactive to resolve any problem. Not recommended!

Booked to view a property in bradley stoke by someone called Joe. He rang in the morning to confirm, we went for our viewing for no one to turn up for at least 10 - 15 minutes late, then he didn't have the keys and had no idea how to get in and said his phone doesn't work. He then walked off after cancelling our viewing, soon after another couple turned up to view the property and they were there to meet the same agent who they called to come straight back, he came back and give the same excuses to the next coupleCompletely unprofessional and wasted our time, I took time from work to view this property.1 star because I could leave less!!!

Avoid!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I would never rent from this or any other associated companies ever again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The experience I had from the time my tenancy ended until I had my deposit partially returned was nothing short of farcical. Their lack of communication and unwillingness to help or address any of my concerns made the process of moving significantly more stressful than it needed to be. They were far more interested in money, they have no desire to provide a decent service for their tenants. I ended up losing a portion of my deposit for which was completely unnecessary cleaning purely due to the fact that I was given the run around from the day I moved out. Had I not reluctantly agreed this saga would still be ongoing and I wouldn't have had any of my money returned. They repeatedly lied about the reason for a sudden increase in this pricing, refused point blank to provide an invoice, refused to listen to any concerns I had and effectively refused to discuss anything until I threatened to seek legal advice. Only then did I receive a phone call. This person was unable give any reason or address any of my concerns, and could not tell me why I was unable to have any sort of invoice. They also lied that the landlord had contacted me when he had not. Even after agreeing to pay these (illegal) cleaning fees just so I could be done with the whole situation it still took a further email and telephone call to have my money returned. Absolute joke of an agency. Avoid at all costs. If you do happen to rent with them take photographs of everything because they will use any excuse under the sun to keep your money.
