Tom was extremely helpful from start to finish. He was full of advice and made a very stressful experience much more easy to deal with. He has the patience of a saint as I'm sure I was the worse customer he has ever had. Having worked alongside various letting agents over the years carrying out maintenance work, I can honestly say D+J Lettings is in a league of their own. Their setup is incredibly efficient, using a transparent online system for job tracking, messaging, and photo/video evidence. As a landlord myself, seeing this level of thoroughness from the inside made me realize how lacking my current agent is. TLC were our letting agents for many years.They were excellent at selecting tenants and always consulted with us before putting them into the property.We had no hesitation therefore in appointing them as our agents when we decided to sell.Tom Lawrence acquired a potential buyer very quickly but the buyer strung us along dor many months and then cancelled when we were ready to complete.It was a very stressful experience but through it all Tom remained calm,helpful and professional.Fortunately we acquired anew buyer very quickly.I would have no hesitation in recommending TLC as a letting agent or to handle a sale.

I would give zero stars if it were possible. I would urge anyone to stay away from properties managed by them. We received a property that was not cleaned and was also utterly filthy upon moving in. It also had plenty of structural issues that were never disclosed, leading to issues such as leaks and structural damage. These were never fixed while we were there since it takes so long for them to provide people to check up on the property. Additionally, note that they will take an exorbitant amount of money for the cleaning fee at the end - we spent days cleaning the property before moving out and nearly £400 was still taken from our deposit purely for ‘cleaning purposes’. You will lose much of your deposit and unless you go for a legal dispute, there is nothing you can do about it. Avoid at all costs.

Very mixed bag with Tom. He was very pleasant and helpful when he was signing me up for a tenancy, which I paid in full, but the after care was quite poor. Pre-agreed terms were not met until I pushed for them to be met, and coming towards the end of the tenancy, he seems to be attempting to label enforcement of legally binding terms as "aggressive and childish" and called me a "knob". Definitely a buyer beware situation.

Really good experience through D+J Lettings, thanks to Raveena, Connor and Linda. We recently went through the process of moving into a rented property through D+J Lettings, and it was straight-forward and easy. Linda met with us at the property and was really friendly, and understanding when we got held up and were a little late! The team were really quick to get back to us with information when we needed it, and the tenancy agreement and deposit was really easy to set up too. They helped us to move in with quite a tight turn around which was really appreciated. We had a maintainance issue that cropped up shortly after we moved in, but the maintainance team at D+J were really quick to get someone out to sort the issue, and the contractor they used was also very friendly and professional. At what was a really stressful time for me and my partner, you were able to provide reassurance by making the whole process very easy. We are really happy in our new home, so thanks again to the team, couldn't fault you! 🤩

Tom was very professional and the attention to detail is incredible. He provided a very clear guidance with all the potential tenants for property that was available for letting. From the beginning to the end I was kept informed and given advice and guidance as to the most suitable tenants. A very extensive set of photographs, of the standard of decoration, was undertaken as a record. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to let their property to contact Tom as soon as possible because you will be very pleasantly surprised. To summarise the incompetence here, just compare these guys reviews to every other Leamington estate agent. [We were tenants but note for property owners we have another story relevant to them at the end of the review] Our experience with The Proprety Experts was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an estate agent for many reasons detailed below: - Worst of all was our actual experience dealing with Julie (as you can see from other reviews we are not the first). Without even talking about the patronising tone she would speak to you with, Julie consistently use aggressive and conflict inducing language. Would often quote legislation at us (incorrectly) to excuse any reason not to work despite the legislation not applying. She would often be unresponsive for sometimes weeks. At one point she said they weren't going to make any other fixes on the property as the property owner had already had to spend lots on fixes they should have done before someone live here! (We had no real issues with other team members, but there is clearly a leadership issue here that isn't being dealt with) - We were assured the property would be cleaned before we moved in and this categorically did not happen. The inventory report on our move in has the words "dusty", "grubby" and "dirty" repeatedly throughout every page and this does not do justice to the disgusting state of the property when we moved in. - We had countless issues within the property when we moved in (including but not limited to broken doors and water fixtures). None of these were even looked at within our first month at the property. - Even when we had been in the property longer, we were often waiting weeks to deal with even urgent issues such as doors randomly permanently locking (even those with no lock) behind you and WATER DRIPPING THROUGH A LIGHT FIXTURE! Though apparently these issues were never classed as "urgent" despite the fire risks. (I want to add to be clear, any labourers who did come the flat were also very helpful and professional, we never had an issue with their conduct) - When we moved in we were given a piece of paper (to leave on our dashboard) saying that we could park in our space until we ordered a pass for our flats private space and if there were any issues they would call the agency. We were inevitably given a £50 parking ticket due to meaninglessness of this piece of paper and when we asked the agency they said it was our fault for believing the paper would work and they would not deal with or cover the ticket. - Consistently the agents had no knowledge of the property including where our post was, bins, meters and our parking situation as previously stated. In summary, living in a property managed by this agency is one of the biggest regrets I have as it is induced unnecessary stress on me, my wife and a friend that lived with us. The reviews speak for themselves, stay far away! [For Property owners] We lived in the property for 3 years and at the end of the tenancy presumed there would be at least some deposit challenge for some cost impact we may have made to the property in that time. I would have considered at least a proposal reasonable considering but I honestly suspect they never even checked on the property after we moved out. They even asked us to provide the final meter readings to save them a trip around the corner, so we could have said anything! After a couple weeks, we just suddenly had our deposit appear in our account with no challenge. So I don't know who these guys are actually working for at this point, bloody useless all round.
