We’ve spent more than 50 years as estate agents in Hitchin, and most of the team lives here too. It’s safe to say we know this area inside out, including the best transport links, the finest dog walks, the up and coming postcodes and even the best cup of coffee. Along the way, we’ve built up great relationships in the area, and that makes all the difference when it comes to selling your home. Of course, we produce attractive marketing packages and list your home where buyers are looking. That’s a given. Moving is a big deal. We want to make your moving experience a breath of fresh air.

GoogleI let out my Hitchin property through Country Properties. I then sold the property through them a year later too. I cannot recommend them highly enough - their local knowledge is second to none, and it helped my sale transaction progress as planned with Paul and Becky's help. Very grateful to the team, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - either on the lettings or sales side.
Thanks Tom - great to hear the team have helped

GoogleMy partner and I bought a house in Hitchin through Country properties and couldn’t have been happier with the service and care given by the team. The transaction was far from simple, but we were kept sane and updated by the team throughout and are delighted with our new home. GoogleToday we viewed Manor Court Bancroft Hitchin. Joshua Bland from Country Properties was our sales guide today. We must say Joshua was so helpful and his knowledge of information on buying and selling houses is extremely high. There was nothing Joshua would not do for us . The property was charming as well, Country Properties have a great selection of various houses and Apartments for sale, as well as renting, if you want a Guide valuation on the price of you property....Joshua Bland is your man...Top Guy ! GoogleRecently viewed a number of new build cottages in Gosmore near Hitchin and was made to feel incredibly welcome by Kali... A warm and friendly greeting but more to the point she had done her homework! allowed us plenty of time to view and was full of enthusiasm throughout. She knew all about the houses in fine detail plus knew the area and market. Although this is the first viewing I've had with CP Hitchin we had sold through them a few years ago and Paul Dewhurst was so professional in every aspect. I think he and his staff have a winning formula - I felt compelled to tell others. First class service and a particular thanks to Kali...PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Hi Ben - thank so much for your review. Brilliant to hear that the Kali was able to provide you with all the information on the new build properties you viewed. We have passed on your feed back to her and the rest of the Sales team. If we can help again in the future please do get in touch

GoogleI had such a positive experience with Country Properties. I had to move very quickly and everyone I dealt with there (in particular Kali, Chloe and Becky) could not have been more helpful. They were reassuring and worked hard to make things work for me and be patient with my stressy phone calls! I’ve had appalling experiences with agents before and they were the absolute opposite of that, and so understanding of my position. I really couldn’t recommend them more highly.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI've dealt with Country Properties in Hitchin twice now, and they've always been efficient, excellent at communicating and very helpful - getting us an excellent price for our property. GoogleWe have recently rented a property managed by country properties, throughout the application and referencing process Paul was extremely helpful, arranging check in and inventory / key sign over Stephen was very responsive and everything went off without a hitch, When we had an unexpcted emergency plumbing issue (that couldn't have been picked up before hand) we rang the out of hours service at 22:30 and had a reply by 22:38 and a plumber out the following morning. Excellent service , friendly and polite team , an absolute world away from our last rental experience.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleCountry Properties pulled out all the stops for me from the word go and worked exceptionally hard and diligently in the sale of my house. They certainly put the hours in - organising an open day which spilled over to two weekends and the days in between. I would like to thank the team for their efforts, especially Becky who excelled in the handling of sale of my property and the purchase of my new home. Even in the face of the disruptions we have all experienced during the COVID -19 pandemic, I was kept informed and encouraged by Becky throughout this difficult period. I compliment and highly recommend Country Properties and Becky.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleCountry Properties were fantastic throughout our sale & purchase. I would definitely recommend them. A house sale / purchase never seems to go smoothly (due to the legal requirements & process) but Country Properties did all they could to make it as easy as possible and reduce stress associated with it all. In addition to their professionalism, hard work and skill, all the staff are really kind & friendly. Having had dealings with many other estate agents in Hitchin, Country Properties are by far the best.

TrustpilotFantastic Customer Service!
I am so impressed with the service I received from Country Properties, Ampthill branch. I recently sold my late Mother's property which invariably came with emotional baggage, but Sasha and Ken made the whole process simple. Their professionalism and personal touches went over and beyond my expectations and to say I'm highly impressed is an understatement. Thank you. I highly recommend them! 🙂

GoogleCountry Properties, and Joshua in particular, have been absolutely fantastic throughout the process of selling our home and purchasing our new one. No ask was too big - without prompting or chasing, Joshua and the team made sure to update me at every stage of the process - they were proactive and did everything in their power to help the process run as smoothly and as quickly as possible. Joshua in particular took the time to explain things that most people already know! His professionalism and patience has been greatly appreciated. TrustpilotWhat a fantastic team at Ampthill…
What a fantastic team at Ampthill Country properties. We have had such a great experience selling our house with them. Ken was brilliant when he came out to value our house and take pictures and he got it on the market super quick. Lynne was great and so helpful. Billie was always friendly and did every she could to help. What can I say about Sasha just wow!! she really did go above and beyond!!! She did absolutely everything she could to make it as smooth as possible for us and was constant with her updates. Her kindness and professionalism is on another level. We can not thank her enough. She got us through some very stressful house moving moments. We can’t recommend Ampthill County Properties enough. Thank you so much 😊
