GooglePlease note to anybody thinking of renting a property through these agents make sure when you collect the keys you take away a copy of the contract. To my mistake i failed to take a copy of the letting contract with me and belvoir turned round and told me I had never been there at all and if I wanted the key i would have to pay them another 2 months rent upfront even though they had already had a deposit. This is blatant fraud and is more like a shakedown for money. So now a disabled person has been left homeless tonight despite having a contract for a property already in his name. The property in question is 52 Runnalow, Letchworth garden city. Update: We were never given a copy of the tenancy agreement as is the law and according to our solicitor the tenancy is still live regardless of whether the keys were handed back and a tenancy can only be ended by mutual agreement or by taking the tenant to a magistrates court, also you may be in breach of the equalities act 2010.

I am sorry you feel this way. You surrendered the tenancy in our office and claimed not to have the finance to pay the rent. We have never denied that a tenancy existed. You surrendered it at your own will a d returned the keys to us. Please contact me so we can try and assist you and your son to get a place to stay. I genuinely want to help.

GooglePoor communication with 4 very last minute changes. While changes are expected due to current tenants plans, there was no phone call to apologise, advise or ask about my next availability for a viewing and just changing a calendar invite for 4 days in the future, regardless of me having to stay in a hotel specifically for this viewing and now not being able to recoup costs. Will not be using Belvoir if the communication is this poor prior to even renting through them.

They always do their best to ensure their tenants and landlords are well informed and any issues raised are dealt with promptly. The Lettings Director, Stephanie, is passionate about what she does, always putting her all into her work. I cannot recommend her all highly enough - she is in touch with the market and extremely knowledgeable regarding all things Lettings. Jan in the Sales office is wonderful. If you want your property sold this is the lady to speak to. Jan’s knowledge of the industry and long list of clients makes her incredibly successful at what she does.

GoogleJonathan from Belvoir in Hitchin was very professional, honest and most importantly quick to the mark. He saw us in the evening, ran through the pricing structure, took pictures of our property and even lined up a viewing for that same evening. Midday the next day he confirmed the tenant had agreed move. Will work with him (and the company) again in the future.

Belvoir are absolutely amazing - they are proactive and timely when I email them as well as very friendly. John and Jan are so lovely to work with. They go the extra mile to help me and assist with chasing chains to ensure that clients are satisfied and that completion is reached speedily. Would not hesitate recommending them.
