GoogleI can honestly say Zoe and Mark were absolutely fantastic!! I had a number of estate agents value my property but instantly felt a connection with Zoe . I felt like nothing was too much trouble either ! Even tho we had the dreaded covid/ lockdown which prolonged our chances of a sale when we got to the point of sale etc Zoe was amazing !! Chasing solicitors, replying to emails and keeping us informed all along the way ! Nothing was too much trouble ! I would definitely use martins again !! I couldn’t recommend them enough !! A special mention to Zoe Morgan, who was quite frankly brilliant! She was always there to sort out problems, especially with the legal side of my purchase. GoogleI would avoid like the plague if you are a tenant looking to rent! Everything they do is in favour of the landlord and they do nothing to represent or stand up for the tenant! The property I rented was excited in a cleaner state than was entered in, yet I’ve lost a large percentage of my bond for items I wasn’t even responsible for. A comment was made by a member of staff regarding the landlords difficult/challenging nature yet I’m still hung out to dry when they’re being unreasonable and I have evidence to validate my dispute appeal. The managing director also made comment on how well worn the property was and still the landlord is favoured! The property was also sold within a week of me exciting so the nature of the landlords claim was beyond unreasonable! The letting agent will receive commission for the sale of the property too, which is likely motive for them favouring the landlord. I personally wouldn’t recommend using Martin & Co Hinckley for letting nor would I consider using to purchase a property.
Hello Wes, That's a shame you feel that way. Many tenants are currently leaving their homes due to the landlords selling. Yes, we sold the apartment, but that's what we do. Regarding your deposit and a claim for cleaning and some minor repairs (£240.00), I believe the landlord requested you contribute £100.00, but you declined and opted to use the DPS' independent adjudicator service. Note the word "independent". This is a free service offered by the DPS using an impartial Solicitor. They decided that you should contribute £180.00 which will be deducted from your deposit. We act on behalf of landlords, but also have a duty of care to the tenants and we're a professional ARLA licensed letting agent. I wish you well in your new home.

GoogleI have dealt with this company for several years. First of all I bought a flat they were marketing and then they acted as agents to let it for me and looked after the tenancy. Most recently they sold the flat for me. Throughout all processes they have acted professionally and efficiently to ensure things went as smoothly as possible. GoogleThere are a lot of estate agents around and to find a company who will give a somewhat personal touch is very rare. l mean that many may not go out of their way, but Martin and Co have done that! I was looking for something that would suit me, not just a house but a home, a home that would give me and my family what we can call home...l have looked at so many with other agencies but none suit or too far for travelling for school and work!. So I saw Martin and co only meeting them once the house that was viewed was okay but not for me! So when l was asked what l was looking for, they said leave it will us!!! So a week later l received a call, l was shown a house that l felt comfortable with and if my children where then it was, l asked if it was okay to arrive back later with my children, again nothing was too much trouble...a few hours later it was! And now l am in just before Christmas. They have a system that connects you to a maintenance team! Very rare. A system that all the information is in one place. GoogleHaving had awful tenants in our property that would not leave, we asked Martin and Co Hinckley to manage the property for us. The tenants were asked to leave shortly afterwards which thankfully they did. Martin and Co then found new tenants for us within 2 weeks! We could not be happier with the service from Steve and his team and would highly recommend Martin and Co for property sales and their excellent managed service for landlords. 11 out of 10!

Having had a conversation and switching Saturday's off work which he was fully aware of I booked in for 11 however when I tried to ring at 10:45 to say we would be 5 minutes late, I kept getting disconnected from Stacy's phone. Eventually when I got through to Mark at 11:10, firstly he was extremely harsh and rude, I asked and began to inform him that we had a booking at 11 but was cut off to "Yeah, you weren't there". Never have I EVER been spoken to in this Way, especially with the intention of spending good money with a company. No communication skills, my first viewing with him he only spoke down and condescendingly about "stupid no shows who have missed out". No care or communication. I personally will be avoiding this company and my only advice is that if Mark is your letting agent. Cancel
OK. Having looked into this, your viewing was booked in for 10.30 not 11.00, and you arrived at 11.15. The viewer who did turn up on time at 10.45 applied for the property. We work on a first come first served basis, and you missed out.

GoogleFrom start to finish we had a very professional service from Martin and Co. and specifically from Zoe. Our sale was not the most straight forward, having a challenging chain, but third time was a charm. We had a hard deadline to complete after two failed attempts and Zoe was exceptional at communicating our instructions. The result being that we have moved into an amazing new house and a family who love our old house managed to do the same. We would not hesitate to recommend Zoe & Martin and Co.
