We were first time buyers and we cannot thank Jan enough for excellent service. I'm sure the others at Martin & Co hold themselves to the same high standards but I only really interacted with Jan. As first time buyers, it was a bit of a minefield at times but Jan explained everything clearly, gave genuinely honest advice and always returned calls in a timely manner. She was great at getting communicating between us, the vendors and our respective solicitors. Whilst we hope that this will be our forever home, if we did move in the future - Martin & Co would be our first choice. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We have used Martin & Co. in Hinckley twice now to sell our homes. That alone should speak volumes about the excellent quality of their service and value for money. On both occasions, we sold within a couple of weeks of listing, achieving the price we wanted and that the team advised. Mark was incredibly helpful and honest during the valuation process, getting everything moving quickly. Jan, who was our main contact after that point, was a pleasure to work with. She is friendly, positive, and worked tirelessly to keep everyone aligned, communicating effectively with buyers, our vendors’ agents, and solicitors. Our first sale was particularly difficult due to complex buyer funding and last-minute survey issues, but Jan did a huge amount of legwork to keep us on track. During our most recent sale, we hit Land Registry delays caused by a previous solicitor’s error from years ago; again, Jan handled the buyers amazingly under difficult conditions. While we don't plan on moving again soon, we would definitely use them a third time!

She went out of her way to help us and settle my mind when issues occurred with the property sale, she also helped us to get the sale completed and contacted buyers solictors countless times when they where being really unhelpful. I sold my property with Martin & Co Summer 2025, I decided to sell with Martin & Co because I had purchased the property through them and had a positive experience. They were great throughout the whole selling process, the photos looked professional and the videos they took really stood out as I didnt see many other estate agents offer this. I rented my flat with martin and co and can't rate them highly enough.they found me an tenant .Although he was a a good tenant left it dirty. After 3 years I let martin and co sell it for me as i rate them very highly.I could trust them implicitly.Trust them 100 %. That office is run correctly and they do all they can to do their help their clients. They sold my property within one day. Mark is very good at his job we cannot fault him. Jan chased up my buyers solicitor on a daily basis. Would i use Martin and co again a hundred percent yes i would, Dont hesitate dont read the bad reviews. Go to Martin and co first done waste your time going elsewhere.

Steve, and then, Jan, took on the sale of a 2 bed flat in Hinckley when the market was quite challenging in June 2025. Martin's and Co have been the letting agent for my rental property for the past sixteen years. I have been incredibly happy, and thankful, for the help and support they've provided for me during this time. Emails are replied promptly, invoices clear, and monies paid on time. They have always quickly dealt with any problems or house issues on my behalf, which was greatly appreciated being so far away myself. And new tenants were always found quickly. I am thankful for all their work these past sixteen years, especially Steve Chadwick. I have recently sold that property through Martin's and Co, and again we're really happy with the service they provided. The photos and details were accurate and positive, and viewings were fitted in around my tenant which was great. I had two offers within a month, and the sale completed within three months. The selling process was quite easy on our part, as Martin's and Co kept on top of the sale and pushed it through quickly. Emails were always answered within hours, and they helped direct the first time buyer as to what he needed to do. Thank you Martin's and Co for your wonderful service this past sixteen years .

I have dealt with several estate agents, and this was by far the worst experience. The overall approach lacked professionalism, and there were difficulties with very simple administrative tasks that should have been straightforward but were left unresolved for almost two years. This clearly shows a lack of attention to detail. I also felt uncomfortable during interactions with a male member of staff, as the behaviour came across as inappropriate and unprofessional, creating an unpleasant atmosphere (xenophobic and sexist undertones). The customer care was extremely rude and poor. Well no customer care at all. Although options are limited in Hinckley, I would recommend avoiding this business and choosing another estate agent. A real shame for Martin & Co
