At the beginning, the estate agent Aron seemed very professional and gave me the impression that he was the right person to sell my house. Unfortunately, after I signed the agreement, he completely revealed himself. He hid vital information regarding my buyer which made the whole selling process extremely frustrating and unnecessarily prolonged. If he had been honest from the start, none of the headaches and stress I experienced would have happened. In fact, another agency, Allday & Miller, had to step in. Thanks to their determination, active communication, and professionalism, my sale was finally completed. Without them, I don’t think it would have gone through. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but in this case I feel I must. Nobody should have to go through what I did. To make matters worse, when I made a complaint, Romans’ customer service offered such a poor compensation that in the end I accepted only because I wanted to close this chapter with them. Otherwise, I would have gone further because they didn’t deserve the large fee they received from my sale. I ended up living in boxes for months because of their mishandling. The only positive note I can add is about Rachel, who was kind and had excellent communication skills. My advice: look for another agency. Romans needs to improve enormously if they want to truly satisfy their clients.

I have given four rather than five stars, due to the fact that having sorted me out, I then have to move on to deal with other people at Romans, as Dale deals with the initial issues only. We had issues with our previous housemates from our previous residence since they were not allowing the agency to provide the landlord's reference, which was necessary to get the new housing contract with the Romans. For us, Zara worked as the point of contact in Romans. Zara was the one who recognised my problem and made numerous attempts to help us fulfil the terms of the property contract at a time when we were in a precarious position due to my pregnancy. And it was only because of Zara's diligence, supporting nature and kind personality that I obtained the contract. I owe Zara a lot.

This is our first experience in going through renting an apartment in UK. Zara was our contact person from Romans and she made our experience very smooth and easy. She took care of our preferences for the furniture and ensured that the apartment is properly cleaned before we move-in. Firstly, a massive thanks to Saad and Arun for everything they did to help us navigate easily through the sales process when we weren’t getting the buyer we needed through the other local estate agents in Uxbridge. Romans gave us the support we needed, helped us sell quickly and at good value for money. Even when we were away on holiday, they still communicated with us and showed potential buyers around virtually and at the property without any issues at all. I've never had to directly deal with an estate-agency before and to be frank, I contacted multiple people to assist myself and my housemates with the moving plan with Romans and Zara was THE one who was SUCH a big help.
