Terrible service, taken a year to fix a leaking shower which has caused much more damage to the property and still nothing has been done. Have offered to fix the problem myself as I'm fully qualified and insured to do so but still nothing. My children are in danger of the kitchen ceiling falling on them and yet nobody seems to care! Have emailed phoned and even visited them in person and still nothing. I bet if I was a day late on the rent they'd be phoning me repeatedly. Maybe they'll take notice of this as they won't be getting a penny more till it's sorted!

Dear Mr Dawson, We are very disappointed to have received a review of this nature and are sorry that you feel matters have not been dealt with to your satisfaction. The Property Management Department have been in communication with you since June 2015 in relation to the subject shower which has been leaking. We have arranged numerous visits from contractors who have conducted various works (including re-sealing the cubicle and double tiling) in an effort to resolve the leak. To the best of our knowledge the situation was resolved in October 2015 and as a matter of precaution water stains to the ceiling were ‘ outlined’ in order for you to observe any further signs of a leak. We received further communication from you in November 2016 when you reported a further leak. A contractor attended site and identified that the magnetic shower strips were not sealing the cubicle properly during use. The contractor was attempting to source replacements but unfortunately struggled to find any suitable. We contacted your partner in early December requesting your assistance (in light of you being a builder) to source the appropriate strips. We later forwarded a link to a suppliers website. Your partner agreed to speak with you and revert back to us. Unfortunately we did not hear anything further from you. In January 2017 you visited our offices requesting an update. We informed you that we were waiting to hear from you in respect of the above and you kindly advised that the seals have now been replaced but that there was still a damp patch to the ceiling. A contractor then attended site to investigate. We have been in contact with you over the course of the last 48 hours and understand that our contractor attended site on Thursday 12th January to carry out further investigation to include an access hatch to be cut to the kitchen ceiling and bedroom wall. They have established that there is no leaking pipework and have now re-sealed the shower tray and made good. They will return to the property on Friday 13th January to decorate the affected areas. Whilst we appreciate that the situation has been ongoing and inconvenient, R Whitley & Co have, to the best of our ability, made every effort to assist in resolving the situation for you.

Went through a 6 month process together in what Richard and Marc said was the most complex situation they had come across, but the were both superb throughout. Always available, always offered an ear when things got tough, and were forever the voice of reason and knoweldge. I considered a couple of estate agents before starting my process, and I am very pleased I chose R Whitleys, would highly recommend them and would use them again.

Absolutely first class from valuation through to completion on our previously tenanted flat, we were kept well informed, the team are all great, Rich, Mary-Jo and especially, Tony all really helpful and friendly. Can't fault them at all especially as we no longer live in the area so this was all done remotely. Highly recommended.

So impressed with R Whitley & Co. They've been so professional, honest and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We had some deadlines with renting our property which it would have costed us some money but they have been so efficient and responded quickly making the process easy for us. This is the 3rd time we've had to work with them and have nothing but good to say about them!

Property was sold within a few days of placing it on the market. Regular telephone updates were provided throughout the process informing me of progress. Relevant parties were chased up on my behalf when required. I would definitely use R. Whitley again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Poor communication. Delaying every day for the following day. Not working for the interest of the seller and buyer too. I had a bad experience where my higher offer was not accepted for no reason and increasing my offer compared to the initial one considered a sign of unreliability. Dear Vasileios Thank you for your feedback and we are really sorry to hear that you are disappointed. We do however wish to share our side of the story. On placing your initial offer you informed us that you had a related sale which was under offer and that the figure you were submitting was the highest you would be prepared to put forward. Another interested party made a higher offer which the vendors decided to accept on the grounds that it was a more attractive figure and that they had no related sale. You were updated accordingly and on being informed that your offer had been declined you then wished to increase despite having made it clear to us previously that your offer was the highest you were prepared to put forward. In addition you also informed us that you were now in a position to purchase the property with no chain. Respectfully the goal posts had therefore moved but we duly submitted your increased offer to our client and updated them regarding you revised position to purchase i.e. no chain. Regrettably as the goal posts had moved the vendor lost confidence and decided to proceed with the applicant they had already agreed a sale too. You will recall that you took it upon yourself to visit the vendors to discuss the situation over the entry intercom and they confirmed that they wished to proceed with another party. Should you wish to discuss the matter further then please do get in touch with Rich Whitley. Wishing you all the best in your search for another property.

Very efficient team. Always tried to find a solution to any challenges encountered. Ben and Richard are very polite and kept communicating whenever we needed.
