I cannot recommend R Whitley & Co highly enough. I viewed numerous properties with various estate agents from across Hillingdon, Harrow and Hounslow and Whitley’s really stood out from the crowd. Mark took me to numerous viewings of property’s that he felt fitted my property criteria and really listened to what I wanted from a property. From the moment the sale was agreed the service provided by Mark, Rich and Mary-Joy has been second to none. There has been constant communication throughout the entire process. Mark and Rich have updated me every step of the way and have spent endless hours chasing enquiries and solicitors. My case went on for longer than anyone initially expected but Mark and Rich made the whole process so much easier. The quality of service and level of professionalism shown by Mark and Rich has been outstanding from start to finish. I was letting a flat from them for more than 3 years and never had a complain with their property management. They always kept me up to date on the upcoming tenancy renewals, other appointments (example boiler service, safety checks). The entire moving in and moving out process was very smooth and I felt valued throughout my stay. The whole team at R Whitley, especially Rich & Mary-Joy were very professional, positive and accessible from the outset. Their attention to detail and knowledge of the market are second to none. The virtual tour and brilliant video they took achieved a huge amount of interest and a successful sale on the first day of viewings. We instructed this agency to sell our home, but the relationship broke down very quickly due to how the negotiation process was handled. During discussions with a prospective buyer, a counter-offer was communicated in our name without our authorisation. We subsequently received written confirmation of this directly from the buyer. This unauthorised communication had a direct impact on our negotiating position. The price presented to the buyer was below the level we were willing to accept, which risked anchoring expectations negatively from the outset. The situation created confusion for the buyer, who then contacted us directly to clarify matters. At that point, it was clear that our position had not been accurately represented, and we took the decision to terminate the relationship and appoint a new agent. As a result, we incurred additional cost and disruption, including the need to re-market the property and commission new photography. We asked whether existing materials could be reused to mitigate this, but this was declined. We raised these issues formally, however they were not meaningfully addressed. The property has now been removed from their marketing and we have moved on, but we believe it is important to share this experience for transparency.

I can't begin to put into words how incredibly helpful R.Whitley and all of its staff have been during the purchase of our dream home. Ever since the sale was agreed, Mark and Mary-Joy have been an absolute pleasure to work with. First of all, they are so warm and so friendly, they really make you feel that they are with you throughout this process. Mark has been extremely helpful in helping us secure our home at the very start of the process. He constantly took our calls, replied to our emails very efficiently and showed us the property with absolute enthusiasm. He really did warm us up to the house even more just by being his optimistic self. Mary-Joy has been incredibly supportive, simply a pleasure to work with. I would need to write an entire letter just to thank her for huge efforts in getting us to the end of this process. Without her, I must say we would probably not be where we are. She has been determined throughout this whole process to move the entire chain forward towards the right direction. She would regularly keep me up to date and most of the time she was the one doing all the chasing for me which freed up alot of my time! She even spent her days off keeping in touch, to make sure our solicitors were progressing as they should have been. I can't be thankful enough for the level of care she has shown us despite the fact that she was going through the process of selling her home simultaneously, and was even keeping in touch during her two days off whilst she was supposed to be busy moving homes herself. I really felt like the staff at R.Whitley have become our family and friends during the months its taken for our contracts to be exchanged. I can't have asked for a better service and if I ever need to buy, or sell or let out a home, I won't hesitate even for a moment to consider R.whitleys for this. They truly do represent the face of great customer service and peace of mind! A special mention to Richard who stepped in on the day of our exchange to ensure we did exchange contracts while Mary-Joy was physically moving homes (even on this day she was in touch with us!). He was super helpful, he made sure the vendors solicitors and the upper chain were all on the same page, and made sure exchange was set in motion. I moved home in September. We had a horrible experience with the estate agents who handled the sale. they were very pushing, demanding & rude. we managed to purchase that house in spite of their actions. We are starting a refurbishment project on that house & needed to rent a house whilst the work is being carried out. We were made aware of a rental managed by R Whitley & Co. The lady I spoke to & liased with was Irma Cushman. I found her to polite, responsive, quick to answer emails & calls. She even emailed after we had moved in to check we were happy. As a first time buyer, the property process is very daunting and can be really complicated. I had viewed 18 properties across 6 different Estate Agents until I viewed my purchased property through R Whitley. You can see in the quality of the listing how much care and effort has gone into showing all features of the property, especially during a time when viewings were limited. I really commend the virtual dollhouse feature/virtual tour on the listing as this enabled me to arrange a viewing with confidence. Even at the Exchange stage this feature has been useful in planning ahead for moving in day and measuring for furniture! The team have been polite, professional and provide frequent communication which has always been reassuring as they have been aware to chase/update whenever needed. The BEST estate agents by far!! I have had the pleasure of purchasing my new home via R Whitley & Co and I have to say they were absolutely amazing! I worked with Mark Groves who has been an absolute angel throughout the whole process. He was someone I could rely on with everything from chasing solicitors to providing me with help, support and guidance. This was our first purchase and so we didn't have a clue what we were doing but Mark helped throughout it all. I had the worst solicitors possible which made the process a living nightmare. I had several breakdowns due to the incompetence of my solicitors and if it wasn't for Mark giving me constant support and reassurance we never would have got to completion. I cannot thank him enough for all that he has done. I am actually going to miss speaking with him as although we formed a strong professional relationship, he also became a friend throughout this purchase. Another thing that really helped was the fact that Mark was ALWAYS available to help, any time I would contact him he would immediately be on the case. There were several times where I didn't even have to ask him to do something, he would have already done it! It really was a blessing to have him. If he was ever out of the office, I never had to worry as the team were always ready to help. I dealt with Rich a few times and he was extremely helpful too. Richard, Mark and most importantly Mary-Joy were instrumental in getting us through what turned out to be a difficult 8 month sale due to a terrible solicitor (Convey Law). Mary-Joy was always available and seemed at some points to be working full time just on our move to make sure our sale didn't collapse. She was always on top of what was going on and made sure we were in the loop. I really couldn't recommend her and the team anymore!
