Coopers (Hillingdon) acted on behalf of the landlord of the property I have just rented. The whole process was remarkably quick and easy and took less than a week to complete. Everything was done online ((including reference checks, inventory, tenancy agreement etc) and the only time I actually needed to visit the office was to collect the keys. The team at Coopers were excellent throughout - special mention to Lewis Clarke who was my principal contact. My stepdaughter and her boyfriend are just about to 'Complete' on their property purchase via Coopers. This has been a really long-drawn-out process mainly due to Covid and the fact that solicitors have been difficult to contact. However, I have to say that Keeley Honey - Coopers Sales Move Manager has been absolutely brilliant throughout this purchase. She has bridged the gap between the seller and the buyer keeping us all informed of the progress and where necessary has interceded to prompt the solicitors. She has been instrumental in keeping the sale alive during exceedingly difficult times. I used Coopers to rent out my flat for the first time. When I met David for the first time, he was really personable and gave a lot of time on a Saturday to explain everything in an easy to understand way. Avoid this agency

Avoid this agency. They are extremely unprofessional and show a serious lack of communication and care. We are still waiting for our deposit more than a month later. During this time, they failed to contact us and repeatedly told us to deal directly with the landlord, whom we had to chase extensively as he was ignoring us. The agency then advised us to raise a dispute with TDS, but when the landlord finally sent a confirmation email approving the deposit release, they claimed it was still not sufficient. Every time we call, we speak to a different agent and receive completely different information. The lack of internal communication within the office is shocking. Renting the property was just as frustrating. The agent failed to complete essential documents, and I even took a day off work expecting to receive the keys, only to discover he had forgotten to prepare the contract, request our documents, and complete the process. I had to resend the same documents multiple times because they clearly do not check their emails. Overall, a very stressful and poorly managed experience. I would strongly advise avoiding this agency.
