Simple Life provide a modern and easy approach to renting. They have good systems in place making any maintenance, repairs and standard compliance checks simple and straight forward. Most important are the people, and our asset manager, Hannah Bishop, who is very approachable and always checks in to make sure things are progressing properly.

We have been in the property nearly 1 year. The response to the fixflo app is very good. We have managed to get all the snagging defects rectified. Asset Manager always checks to make sure that the defects are in progress or complete and we have an excellent relationship with her.

If you want to have a “Simple life” don’t choose this company because your life will become everything else apart from “simple”. Till they get you to do the application for their homes they will be really kind, quick response but after… after good luck chasing them!

Straightforward renting experience, a couple of teething problems as to be expected with a brand new build but Hannah Bishop has always been quick to respond and chase up any work that we have needed done to get it completed. Everything within simplelifehomes control has always been taken care of well.

Well equipped apartment. Well presented. Any problems dealt with promptly and with no fuss. The location is a little problematic if residents depend on public transport Very safe. As with many communal complexes waste disposal is problematic and bin shed is frequently overflowing

Simple life homes are fantastic, I’ve been renting with them for 2 years and have had a great experience! I love that they are so flexible with pets and have allowed me to have my 2 dogs live in the properly with me 🐶. Hannah in particular has been really helpful throughout. Defo recommend!

We applied for a home with simple life and indeed so far they have lived up to their name!!!Simple has been the process and if we have had any queries so far then both the referencing team and the simple life team have been so helpful and very quick to respond with the whole process!!!!I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

People seemed nice enough but not very forthcoming with information and flexibility around dates for move, I have had to wait two weeks for a viewing and expected to have everything ready in that time now I have seen the house. I would never sign for a twelve month contract without seeing the property but now I only have a short window to arrange moving.

Hi David, Thank you for your review and feedback. We're sorry to hear that you don't feel we have been flexible enough with move in dates. Unfortunately we are unable to allow a much later tenancy start date for a home that is available because this would leave the property void for a long period of time, especially when they are often in high demand. In usual circumstances, where we are leasing up a new site, we're able to take applications against houses that are becoming available that align with your desired move in date, however we can see that you were interested in one of the last houses at one of our developments so unfortunately in this instance we didn't have the ability to do this. We are very aware that we cannot carry out viewings on properties that are still under construction and haven't yet been signed off by health and safety so we always offer show homes where available, viewings of other available properties and provide show home videos so our customers can get a good feel for the house types. Additionally we will always offer viewings prior to moving in and prior to signing the final tenancy agreement.

Leaking toilet and subsequent damage reported in February, still awaiting repair work.Account manager seems to change on a regular basis with little to no handover or communication of existing works.Contractors sent to perform tasks which they cannot complete due to tasks being allocated out of sequence e.g. the fixing of the ceiling before the leak had been repaired

Hi Anna, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We have had a good look in to your records for this job and we can see that it has been going on for quite some time. We can see from our maintenance log that we have had 4 contractors attend the property to detect if there is a leak and as you are aware, all of them have confirmed that there isn’t a leak, it would appear instead that the bath is being over-filled causing damage. As this is therefore not a fault with the property, it has had to go through as an insurance claim which takes longer to compete.
