The only reason I’m rating 5 stars is solely down to Leah in the property management team. She went above and beyond to make sure our move-in was seamless. When things were not quite right, she knew exactly who to call, what to do and kept us fully informed throughout. I simply cannot thank her enough. She is an absolute asset to Simple Life.

If you want your deposit back,please avoid this company.They will rip you off your deposit.They do not expect their useless property to depreciate,they will want to rip you off your deposit.TDS too very unfair. Avoid!!!

Hello,Thank you for replying to our find reviewer request, allowing us to identify your tenancy.We’re sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the outcome following your end of tenancy, especially as we can see this was over a year ago now.We’re pleased to see that you followed the correct process and raised this dispute with the TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) who are an independent adjudicator on behalf of both the resident and the landlord. The TDS will review the check-in, check-out and any further information submitted by both parties to reach a final and fair conclusion.

The portal and ease of speaking to someone is great. It does make me feel like I can always report any issues or get the help I need. I appreciate the contractors aren't the responsibility of Simple Life, but I've been let down by the contractors not attending or not booking appointments. Simple Life always follow this up to ensure the service is eventually sorted.

Been quite a bad experience moving home ...move in time house not ready still 3 days after bins full of contaminated waste grass knee high and touch up paint jobs in house well ....I’ve been in construction trade over 30 years and I’d be ashamed if any of my workers done work like that...hopefully when actually move in the experience might get better

Hi Christopher,We’re sorry to hear that you feel your property wasn’t up to scratch upon collecting your keys. We always aim to complete our pre-tenancy inventory 2 days before move in, so that the property is in tip-top condition right before move in day. We can see from our notes that you had requested a much earlier move in date than what had originally been agreed which we really wanted to accommodate but it unfortunately meant that the time to get our inventory and checks completed was very tight and not in line with our standard policy. As you mentioned there were a few items that were not up to our ordinary high standard. We don’t feel this is an excuse and the property should have still been to the high standard we pride ourselves on, so we sincerely apologise for this.I believe all your current requests are being seen to and your Asset Manager has been in touch. We really hope that you’ll have a much better experience moving forward with us.

Easy and fast experience had a lot of stress moving out but everything was sorted in a schedule to what was the initial plan all and obviously all thanks to my asset manger Olivia who made it happen and helped sorting all the things out for me.
