Stow Brothers - Excellent Estate AgentIt's been quite the journey buying and selling houses but I couldn't have done it without the wealth of knowledge and support given to be from the team in Walthamstow and Highams Park. Everyone is really approachable, helpful and guides you through even the most challenging purchases or rentals. (I used them for both) They put every effort into making it as simple as possible and communicate well. Highly recommend if you want an estate agent that goes above and beyond to make it all happen. I called for a rental house advertisement and they gave me an appointment. I liked the house and made an offer. They told me to give me a holding deposit and let's reserve the house immediately. I agreed. It was organized by 2 people named Rhea and Alysha. But then they did not return. They told me that we gave the house to someone else. This is a shameful situation. Alysha and Rhea are definitely making the customers sad. These 2 friends are disgracing the entire company. I will never work with this company again.

TrustpilotAs a tenant, please stay far away from StowBrothers
Stow Brothers let & manage the property that I have rented for the past year. And I have never experienced such incompetent and lazy service from any establishment.The issues I've had since moving into the property have ranged from pests (cockroaches, mice, ants, moths, woodlice, slugs and more), black mould on the walls and my items, major distrubances from the upstairs neighbours (who are also managed by Stow), outside building works that the landlord waited to have done until I moved in, and inside building works that were required because of shoddy work done to the flat, and so much more. I also couldn't move in for the first month because the property was left in an unlivable state.Every time I write StowBrothers, it takes them days - weeks to respond, and many times I'm not even dignified with a response. It can take up to 6+ months to have urgent issues actioned. For example I first raised the issue of damp in the flat when I moved in a year ago, and I only just had a contractor over to start working on the various issues causing the damp. As a tenant with Stow Brothers, you will need to chase and chase until things get actioned. Emails are ignored. And as long as you're paying your rent on time, they will continue to do the bare minimum.StowBrothers couldn't care less about their tenants.
