GoogleI cannot praise Reeds Rains enough for their help in selling my mother in laws house which was in probate. This was a new area for me to be in and they took the pressure off me and completed the sale through auction, which I must say I was dubious about with ease and simplicity. Paul, the manager appeared whilst on he was on holiday to take the necessary photographs, Yvonne, who was my main contact was absolutely fantastic. Communication, support and help was second to none, all in a very friendly manner, with a smile on her face. A mention for Abi too who supported Yvonne and kept me informed all the way through. Reeds Rains Glossop is a local, friendly estate agent, with excellent friendly and knowledgeable staff who I found I could trust - thank you all

GoogleWe bought our perfect house from Reeds Rains in April and from the beginning until July completion, they were brilliant. Caroline and team at Glossop kept in touch every week to see how things were going, they kept us informed and dealt with any issues calmly and quickly. They are friendly and approachable whilst being profession and business like. We wont be moving again but if we were, we would definitely use them to sell !

GoogleAbi has been very helpful in arranging a rental property for my partner and I. Through the process both Abi and Carolyne have responded to emails and calls quickly and kept us both in the loop throughout the process. They made it very easy! Very disappointing experience with Reed Rains. The property was advertised before it was ready for sale. After spending time and money on searches and enquiries, we were ready to agree on completion when the seller informed us that they needed to apply for a cheaper mortgage. This process took another six weeks, and the seller ultimately did not obtain the mortgage.
We regret your disappointing experience. We aim to confirm sellers' readiness before listing and we are sorry this did not happen in your case, causing wasted time and money. We'll review our procedures to prevent recurrence. Thank you for your feedback. Regards, Reeds Rains

GoogleVery poor all round - we chose to rent through reeds rains when relocating back to the area and couldn't regret it more and will not continue past our term. Hands off is an under statement and everything from application through to maintenance has been excruciating. Our actual landlord is great but I feel bad for him that there's a % of rent payable to RR given that they do as little as possible and have left us speaking directly to landlord and repair contractors at every turn. I have never rented in the UK and this may be how every experience is but I have rented out properties through other companies and this has not at all been my experience. Right now we do not have a working bathroom and there is no sign that this is going to change unless we initiate the sewerage chamber repair ourselves which is not within our remit or contract. Useless.

This is one of the worst estate agents I have ever tried to deal with. They just completely ignore you. Sellers beware - find a decent agent to list your property with as these guys are useless!! Nottingham city branch. Radio silence and ignorance for 4 weeks!
