GoogleApart from a bit of a delay with getting the official offer paperwork completed, we found Brown and Merry really helpful, especially Yvonne, who coordinated the purchase very professionally, kept us up to date at each stage and answered lots of our questions!

TrustpilotI gave them my number.. Big Mistake.
I asked for an evaluation.. this was fine.. no problems.. but I chose a different agent and now 4 months later they still regularly phone me up, once even saying "hello , this is your estate agent".. errr NO... they are abusing the fact that I gave them my number and now I cannot get rid of them.. Wish I had never done so. I am now apart of their ' any phone call is work' policy. B&M are owned by connels and the BBC has a page about their dubious sales tactics. They have a tv show about it also.

GoogleLooking for a home in todays rental market is extremely difficult and not a huge amount available, however brown and merry, and specifically Ellie, have been brilliant at making us aware of any potential properties, as well as going out of her way to accommodate viewings for times that work for us! Although we are yet to find somewhere, we are always more than happy to deal with Brown and merry, and Ellie as the service is brilliant!! Thank you so much!

Ellie McKeown was my main point of contact during the process, and handled my move brilliantly - She was incredibly consistent through the whole process! Thomas Porter and his team were very efficient and kept us updated constantly both whilst marketing the property and during the sale process. GoogleWe didn't actually sell our house through Brown & Merry, but I wish we had. We dealt with them via our vendor and were fortunate enough to have Jamie supporting us, and we also had dealings with a couple of other members of his team. The team supported us in exactly the same way as Jamie. Nothing but professional, couldn't do enough to help, always came back to us as quickly as possible, were efficient and clear in their communications. Having recently exchanged, I don't relish the prospect of moving again in the near future but if we do, we'll give Jamie and his team a call, no question!

GoogleWe had our house on the market with another agency for 6 months with no movement. We switched to Brown and Merry and sold it within 2 months for the asking price (which Marcus said they would do). Marcus and Charlotte were outstanding from the get go. They communicated clearly with us throughout and were confident in their approach. GoogleCharlotte Perry is an outstanding member of Brown & Merry in Tring. She was so very helpful in trying to get us an appointment to suit us to view a house. When we wanted to see it again she arranged for us to return and was so obliging. When my daughter and her partner wanted to see the house at the last minute Charlotte fitted them in despite being pressured with other appointments and work. Charlotte is an exceedingly helpful Estate Agent with a lovely manner; she knows when to step back and let prospective buyers look, discuss, and have time in making such an important decision in finding somewhere to live. We wish her well and thank her most sincerely. Jamie Dyson was also a very impressive member of staff too like Charlotte. He was very pleasant and helpful Estate Agent and knowledgeable like Charlotte. We thank him for his help.

GoogleBrown and Merry in Tring are brilliant. I had a great experience. Tom came round initially and was so kind. He was super friendly and gave me a top price for my maisonette. Then I got to meet both Marcus and Charlotte Perry, who would be selling my home. They were both lovely. Charlotte was amazing. She found a buyer and sold my place for the full price, before the photos had even been edited. Since then I've been dealing with Jamie and Yvonne over the phone and again, they are both friendly and professional. I'm moving to my new home next week and I can't thank these guys enough. They helped make the experience smooth and stress free. Thanks so much. 😊

Despite their friendly and professional appearance, this company (Wendover branch) have proved to be all but incompetent in marketing our family home. Having redecorated the whole house to improve our sale potential, B & M failed to take any fresh photos of the house for 3 weeks! They then bungled the renewed photo set by mixing the previous photos with the new ones, making it visually a dogs dinner. Lastly the quality of the photographs was extremely poor - not highlighting any good features, not close enough, pictures of a floor, or focussing on a bed. Absolutely useless.
