Kept a difficult transaction moving

I bought using BHS as a de facto estate agent, earlier this year. They did not get involved in showing me round the place, this was (sensibly) left to the existing homeowner, however once my offer was accepted, I was assigned my own "progressions manager", Charles Gale, who was instrumental in ensuring things got done on time on both sides of the transaction, during what was a very pressured time with a stamp duty holiday expiring midway through the process; he quite possibly helped rescue it from falling through at the last minute at the very end of the process. He was serenely unflappable throughout and calls were always quickly returned. An excellent service in this respect

Flat full of problems

Great experience for a first time buyer

I recently completed on my first home purchase through British Home Sellers. Everyone I spoke to throughout the process was really friendly and very informative. It’s great that you can text them too, especially during busy work periods when you have days full of meetings. I was a first time buyer and both Rob and Charles who were helping with the sale were really helpful. Charles even gave me some personal advice which I really appreciated as he did not have to do this and it really helped me make some decisions during the sale process. They both made a daunting process very easy. Based on my experience as a buyer I would consider using them when I come to sell my property.

Brilliant at first, then nowhere to be seen

BHS excelled where others have failed - the company found us a buyer within about five weeks. At the beginning, everything was set out clearly, and the process was so easy, with everything being done online. However, as soon as a buyer was found, the staff disappeared off the face of the earth, ignoring calls and emails. The estate agent is supposed to be the link in the chain, and it was just lucky we had a wonderful solicitor and good relationship with our buyers, so the estate agent's lack of contact did not matter. I think the company really only earnt half its fee, as it certainly wasn't there every step of the way.

The team at British Home Sellers have been super friendly & professional throughout. No question or query was too small, and I always recieved a prompt and courteous reply. Their online and over the phone system works perfectly. I would recommend very highly, especially to first time buyers, they made the whole process very easy to understand. Also, not having my own solicitor, they recommended one for me, Premier Property Lawyers. They too were fantastically professional. So I was very pleased with the whole service, from beginning to end. Top job everybody! 10/10

Great and helpful company

We are just about to exchange on our house, things went a little slow with solicitors and was getting very frustrating even after me calling and chasing up, Charles helped contacting both sides of solicitors and our buyer to help chase up for us too and keep me informed with everything which has sped up the process and we are getting there. Right from the beginning British Homesellers have been amazing, from being helpful and polite and just being there to answer calls and emails almost immediately is fantastic!
