Having recently had GlassHouse Properties deal with the sale of our home, we cannot recommend them too highly. From the first discussions with Sam Burston, we were totally confident that our property sale would be handled in a most professional way. This proved to be the case. A superb set of photographs and online brochure were produced, which did full justice to the property. Sam handled all the viewings and kept us fully informed throughout the process. My agent initially sat me down to talk me through the process. He gave me a to do list. After having the kitchen painted I could appreciate his comments. I moved furniture, took away unnecessary items in the house and garden. With his advice I was able to present my property in a better light as confirmed by the agent's drone photographs and those of the photographer. The agent was prompt to arrange and show round prospective buyers. He also gave good feed back.

We would highly recommend Glass House Properties, specifically Sam Burston, to anyone considering selling their property. Sam provided outstanding service and expertise when he helped us sell our timber framed property last Summer. He was a constant source of reassurance during what could have been a very stressful process. His years of experience were clear to see throughout the the sale. From advising on interior design changes and bringing in a specialist photographer to really showcase the house, thorough detailed listing information and floor plans, arranging and performing viewing to negotiating the sale all the way to completion. His communication was exemplary throughout. He was quick to respond to messages, often out of hours, and was an effective intermediary between us, the buyers and both sets of solicitors. I feel that his regular communication between all parties really helped to speed up what can often be a laborious process, particularly regarding solicitor activity. Sam gave us plenty of notice to prepare for viewings, which he performed himself, and feedback was instant. It took only 10 days, 3 viewings, for us accept an offer. We looked at many estate agents when we decided to put our house on the market in June 2019. A number of long established names came to our house and gave us the talk that we have had numerous times (we have moved quite a few times!). We decided to ask Glass House to come and quote as we had heard good things about them. Sam Burston came to our house and told us about himself and his company’s philosophy - it’s the first time we have been impressed by what an estate agent has to say. Selling a house is a very stressful thing to do and things rarely go according to plan. This is where an estate agent, in our opinion, earns their money. There were issues with houses, finance, people pulling out and a multitude of other things along the chain. However, Sam kept calm (and more importantly, kept us calm!), didn’t flap at all. He was always ready to find alternative solutions and asked all the right questions. We have consistently recommended Glass House to friends, family and in fact, anyone we come across selling their house. From the start of the process these guys were faultless, going above and beyond the call of duty! During the initial stages the team were thorough in their inspection of the property putting together a great sales package that was clearly explained. Once on the market the team were extremely proactive in gaining interested parties. As we were conducting the viewings ourselves we were updated at all stages with viewing times and viewing feedback. Once under offer our particular sale became quite a drawn out process, a result of a moving chain, Kirsty was excellent at maintaining communications with all involved parties, continuing to provide detailed updates at all stages. Without Kirsty's professionalism and diligence we believe we may have missed our specified move date.
