Brown and Merry they found lovely tenants for us.The Services provided by them were Absolutely FANTASTIC . We also advertised our property through other agents but Brown and Merry were a only agents who were always proactive in their work. Steve and Luke were very helpful. Especially Luke is energetic ,lovely person always ready to help.He infact gave his personal mobile number and kept on updating.I used to get immediate reply what ever time I messaged him. I was so happy with Brown and Merry Estate Agents. Dwayne was friendly, helpful and on point and managed to help us with everything. Even if I was out of the country and my husband was doing everything alone, Dwayne was in contact with me by email every step of the way and making sure while I was travelling that all the boxes were ticketed and we got our house in record time. Really loving our house and my kids are super excited to be moving into our gorgeous place. Brown & Merry so happy we found you.

They are the best! I had a good experience with them, they helped me to rent the house that I wanted very easy and very quickly, wasn't necessary to loose time for bring too many documents. Luke Butler was amazing, he kept us updated with everything to see us happy and helped me a lot with filling in the forms and obtain the references. We are very satisfied with them! My experience with Brown and Merry Estate Agents team at Hemel Hempstead has been fantastic. Luke in the property management team is entirely efficient, reliable and responsive, he add so much value. Sadly we didn't have such a great experience with the agent. When we invited James to value our property, we had been assured there were plenty of applicants looking for houses in our area and at the price he had valued the house. Less than a month later we instructed Brown and Merry to market our house. On the day of take on I double checked the marketing price and explained that we were sure to make some money on the sale so if he thought the price might be a bit on the high side he had the freedom to suggest a lower price but only if he felt he couldn't sell at his suggested valuation. He told us again they had plenty of applicants and the house looked great so he was very confident. 2 weeks later and we didn't get a single viewing. We had zero feedback from the agent. I had to do the chasing. I had the right to use the cooling off period but I didn't like the idea of dis-instucting so we discussed bringing in a 2nd agent. 4 weeks into marketing and we still had no viewings and again no feedback. Sadly we came to the decision to let the other agent become the sole agent and asked Brown and Merry to remove our house from their website. We have dropped the value by £20k and have started to get people through the door. Trust is a big part of this industry and when you lose it, you're left with the same feeling many others have about estate agents. As a person who works in the industry, this frustrates me as I know it's not the same with all agents. The feeling with this agent is they think a take on is a success story because they get another house on their website and a board up in the street, whereas I believe the success is in the sale because surely this is when you can pay your staff for a job well done and to cover your overheads.

I don’t think they even bother to read reviews. They let my property to a tenant who paid 6 months in advance. After 5 months she asked to change to monthly rent payments. A smaller agency would have sorted this out within a week. These people have had 6 weeks and nothing happened. Their departments don’t talk to each other. Just like a Franz Kafka novel.

i registered with brown and merry over a year ago and i am more than satisfied with the service i have received from them , the examples are to follow , the agent who was allocated to evaluate and place my property on the market went the extra mile to support me through that process , he was very understanding when i told him how dissatisfied i was with the very poor service i received from the tour operates Leger after i had returned home from a Christmas and new break . Brown and merry also allocated a solicitor juno who they are partnered with to deal with the legal side of my property sale which saved me all the hassle of finding my own independent solicitor online which would have been very challenging for me because i have a condition which effects my communication and sensory processing skills . I visit the watford branch of brown and merry where i am based every Wednesday afternoon to have a one to one session with my agent who A helps me convey essential information to Juno online , ie the date my boiler was serviced , the location of my water metre , the date of a fire safety check took place , and the i needed to officially declare the date's i had essential services carried out on my property . There are several branches of brown and merry in Glasgow entitled Alan and Harris where i am intending to relocate to who will help find a future property for me , meanwhile my agent browses through all the one bedroom flat property's in west end area of Glasgow with me online to save me the hassle of doing a property search all on my a task which i have no previous experience in , My agent has also taken a lot of time and effort to locate a removal firm in Glasgow called Pickfords who will both store my furniture during the transient period and move it to my address . i have not been required to do anything regarding the sale of my old property and purchasing a new one on my own volition thanks to the marvellous work of Brown and Merry !!they are miricel workers and life savers ,,!! they have even arranged to book me into a hotel during the transition period while my rented accommodation is being sorted out . so i give brown and merry an A double a starred and they definitely deserve a ten out of ten .
