I have never felt compelled to leave a review for an estate before as I'm an owner operator of my own independent estate agents in Goodmayes. A large part of any agents sales will be in a chain and often having to deal with inexperienced/unresponsive agents can be a real pain. Im writing this review as Charlie was none of the aforementioned!. Absolutely cracking guy, responsive, professional and a delight to talk to.. He also went the extra mile for my sellers who were buying from him and he made the whole process a pleasant experience for them too. Top marks Charlie!!...

Although having appraisals from 5 different estate agents we decided to go with Charlie from William H brown. We had a good feeling about Charlie he came across as professional responsive and highly motivated. Upon meeting Charlotte Ellis (Mortgage Consultant) I was made to feel comfortable. I entered her office nervous about achieving my goal of buying a property however by the end of the meeting as a result of Charlotte’s guidance and assessment she assured me that it was achievable. Charlotte maintained regular communication with me on progress, always available via phone or email to me whenever needed. I am near the end of my process and she is still ensuring that my process keeps moving, whenever a stand still has occurred, she has pushed things through. We booked a viewing in and due to traffic we were late by 10 mins. The agents meeting us had an attitude where her ignorance superseded her arrogance. Nevertheless, we liked the property and put in a bid and after chasing the office the communication was absolutely poor. I have no idea how this company conducts its business with poor performance on every level. We would not recommend dealing with them and now have put in an offer for another property with a local company, and the attitude with them compared to William H Brown is chalk & cheese.

Spoke to a guy called Jason numerous times regarding the possibility of viewing a specific property in cherry tree lane, assured me he would call me back once he has heard from the owner, the property has now been sold and still not heard back from him! Very unprofessional and highly untrustworthy. If I were to have a guess Id say he has taken a little bit of cash from someone in order to reserve the property! SCAM! Be careful!
