I have nothing but postive things to say about the service we have received from the Walthamstow branch of Douglas Allen. Since booking the first viewing of the house we are buying, through to almost completing on the sale, we have had a friendly and very responsive service. Maria handled the offer and negotiation process quickly and effectively and made the communciations with the seller very easy and smooth. Ben has handled our later viewings fo the house with great patience - nothing was too much trouble for him, and also offered very helpful advice about surveys, etc. And Nina who answers the phone always seems to know who I am! So all round, as buyers, we are very happy with the team.

I recently sold my property through the Walthamstow branch of Douglas Allen.I had used two different estate agents previous to this with no luck but my house sold within a couple of weeks of going with Douglas Allen.I have mainly been dealing with Ameer and Maria and they have been really helpful. This is the first time I have sold a property so don’t really know the process but they have helped me through every step of the way and I have been able to go into branch (COVID safe) and they have helped me go through any paperwork I didn’t understand.Everyone in branch are really friendly and happy to deal with any queries.For anyone not sure which agents to go with when selling their property I would highly recommend these guys

We have been helped in the search for a new home by Nasir at the East Ham branch. Absolutely amazing customer service and professionalism has been core to all his conduct with us. He took the time to listen to what it was that we were looking for and thereafter arranged viewings which were suitable- this is in contrast to other estate agents. He has been patient with questions and queries we have constantly been throwing at him, always taking the time to answer without making us feel the troublesome customers we are- genuinely a lovely competent member of staff and evidence of the excellent recruitment at Douglas Allen. The team leader Maureen and the rest of the team seem lovely too. Ten out of ten :)

We were introduced to Douglas Allen Walthamstow via the Co-Operative Probate Service and Movewithus. We instructed them to sell our property. I wish I could find something positive to say about Douglas Allen Walthamstow and the Branch Manager but there is nothing. They completely wasted our time for over three months. We gave them notice and took our business else where. We instructed another estate agent, whose fees were cheaper, and they achieved a higher sale price, so we ended up being £12,000 better off. I DO NOT recommend Douglas Allen Walthamstow.

They made the whole experience from finding a house from start to finish as they offered me a mortgage advisor and conveyancing team, they demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for my needs as a first-time buyer. I must appreciate how helpful Callum and Joseph have been. Precisely Owen the mortgage advisor went above and beyond to understand my preferences and matched my criteria. They were incredibly responsive to all my questions and concerns, providing timely and thorough communication throughout the entire process.
