GoogleI had such a great experience here, this is how an estate agent should run. They were excellent in keeping up to date with new properties comimg on the market and booking viewings in imedietly. The process was simple and easy. Very friendly and helpful staff. They had a spare key for when we managed to get locked out. Very grateful to them for finding us our beautiful new home. Highly recommended.

GoogleYes people there were friendly, but that's about it. First off, paid a 'reasonable fee' of £300 and spent 30 minutes writing down every personal detail for a background check. Then paid another £125 for contract drafting. Took them almost 3 weeks to draft the contract. Finally they will frequently close early or have no one in the office during opening hour. I would rather take the risk using Gumtree next time than use BE again

We are very sorry you feel the reference and contracts weren’t complete to your standard however Countrywide do always go above and beyond for our landlords as well as our tenants . I must express how strict our referencing checks are and as a result we would require personal details as we did at the time. The tenancy agreement is always produced by our legal team in a timely manner and will only be put together once all checks are complete and the fee’s are paid.
