I’ve recently had back and forth communication with one of the agents Erin and she has been so professional, patient and helpful with all of my queries and questions. I’ve been looking to move into the Havant area for the last year and she has been such a pleasure to speak to. It’s a big jump for me to up move my family but I feel like the team at Beales really care about their clients and I’d feel really happy and reassured to find a property through them and hopefully buy a house through them one day.

After my mother died, as a family, we decided to rent out her house for a while. We were unsure but for now it felt like the best option and I’m so pleased we decided to talk to Beals in Havant. Absolute Garbage Company

On the day me and my housemates were due to move in, we were given our contract and this is when we learned that the price listed on the Beals website was innaccurate. Due to it being such short notice we were pressured to accept this and move in anyway, otherwise one of us would have essentially been rendered homeless.Once we started living there, we learnt that the walls were full of holes that allowed pests in during the winter; half the cooking equipment is barely functional; the bathtub was falling apart since day one; there are several floorboards that are loose or missing; and the garden was in a state that Bealls themselves described as "unlivable" condition. When they finally did hire someone in to fix the garden, they left behind ten bin bags worth of garbage. They said they would come back for it, but never did.Conversations with the landlord (on the rare ocassion he was available) suggest he has never even seen the property he rented to us.On top of all this, when Beals staff come to do viewings for future clients, they complain to us about the above issues as if they are our fault.Overall, renting from Beals has not been a great experience for me.

Pleasantly surprised

Pleasantly surprised! After my brother had a bad experience letting through beals estate agents I was fairly hesitant when I realised the property I wanted to buy was with the same company. Akshay Chotai is hands down one of the best estate agents I have come across. He is very knowledgeable and personable and listens to what you are saying. I would definitely buy my next property through him without a doubt!

Unprofessional, Incompetent, Deceitful.Beals are the worst letting agent I have ever dealt with. They are very slow to respond to problems, often months. They (eventually) send the same unskilled handymen to “resolve” every issue and it always results in many more visits than is necessary and a substandard botch-job. To achieve this level of “service” you have to chase them many, many times.They have been caught out lying to me on numerous occasions. At the end of tenancy they tried to overcharge me. Luckily they were not competent enough to pull it off. Do not deal with this company. It doesn’t matter if you like the house, it will not be worth the hassle you will go through.

Very helpful and quick.

Beals (Lauren in particular) have been great and very helpful in our buying process. They have also been a big help during our selling process even though this was done privately. After an absolute nightmare and a long 8 months of our previous buyer falling through, things have been done very speedily and we have also been kept up to date with the process. Lauren has definitely made this time round almost completely stress free and easy! Thank you!
