As a potential buyer, I don't appreciate being mislead with information. I enquired about a house and was told I'd be the first to view the property, this was not the case at all and lost out because of this. The mortgage offer given was not at a good rate VS other high street providers, so would advise using them as a last resort. Plymouth Branch

My property is for sale with another estate agent. Fox and Sons have my details as they were one of the agents I invited to make a valuation. I didn't mind them phoning a few months later asking if I would reconsider and use them. I politely declined and told them I would contact them if interested and under GDPR regulations remove my data from their records. They promised to do this but have phoned again. Is this a GDPR data breach? Probably..Will I use them after this latest call? No. Will I be rude and make a complaint about a data breach if they call again? Certainly. Pushy

Just bought our like first house through fox and sons of in Eastbourne. Moving down from Croydon foxes were very helpful in talking through areas and recommending properties and found us the perfect place. Appalling service. I had an offer accepted on an apartment in early August and as of Sept 10 had still not heard from them. Phone calls and emails go unanswered. when I finally got one of them on the phone his reaction was the immortal words - well if you need to pull out then do that. If you are a buyer avoid them like the plague

We mainly dealt with Rees at Fareham but I believe Grace sold our house , considering how busy they where with stamp duty holidays there services where perfect , A lot of chasing around on our behalf was done , Rees was extremely pleasant and did everything in his power to secure the chain quickly .

Googlemade an appointment the day before to view a property, fir tree rd. The agents didnt even bother to turn up. When i rung them Ryan because very rude and spoke to me like dirt, claiming i didnt make the appointment. I asked to to remove me from his list. Funny as he had my up to date details on the system which i gave him when making the appointment for viewing. He spoke to me, like a bit of dirt on the floor. What a vile Estate Agency, hang your head in shame !!!!!

GoogleDo not instruct these people unless you want to wait 10 months to sell your property! Yes 10 months when the market is seeing a shortage of property. They inflate your valuation to an unrealistic level to get the business and then only show people on a block viewing open house basis, which some buyers do not like. I had one abortive sale, the sales progressor was lying about mortgage offers and various other lies. They did very little due diligence on the prospective buyers and therefore was strung along by time wasters. At one point there was smell of gas at the property and they refused to send somewhere there to turn of the gas at the meter. They only sold this property when I was about to move the business to another estate agent and then suddenly a buyer appeared. The buyer was allowed into the property a day before completion ( I am was not consulted about this) then the buyer made a list of provisos of work that needed doing before the completion the following day. That cost me another £1000 let alone the council tax, mortgage payments whilst it was on the market. I am a property investor and this experience has really pushed me towards the internet estate agents.I also notice that Tom Davies has given 5 stars to boost the overall rating, he works for Fox and Sons!!

Avoid at All Costs, Toxic Work Environment and Unethical PracticesToby Jones the "manager" is creating huge conflict of interest, although he is married, he is having an affair with Danielle Lakin, one of the mortgage brokers. This is the least of fox and sons worries but shows the type of person they have in their midst. Avoid all. Worst company in Hastings. Scum!

Applied for an MIP with local firm thinking would get a more personal service. Tried back in early July and no response for a few days so decided service was not great! Wanted a responsive service. Then decided would have another go and sent salary slips as requested to the broker 19th July. No response at all to date! Now going to go to an online national service.
