If you are looking to move, you can absolutely trust LentinSmith. I rented a flat in Harrogate for over 2 years and it has been an absolute breeze. From the move in to the move out process, everything went super well. I inquired about a property with Lentin Smith as a tenant back in May and unlike most other agencies, who were quite dismissive and at best "added me to a waiting list", Lentin Smith were very quick to respond and show me the property. The application process, key handover and move-in was all very efficient and Lucy was always happy to assist by email whenever needed.

I highly recommend Lentin Smith! For the last 2.5 years, I have been renting a place managed by LentinSmith. This is definitely the best letting agency I have ever dealt with. Laura and her colleagues were always very quick in getting back each time I had a query. Moving out process was very smooth as well (which is a rarity with other agencies). They manage their properties very well - any issue with the house (even the smallest thing) was dealt with very quickly, even during the lockdown.

This is to all traders DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT PAY YOU!! All the people in this office are only nice when they receive money, they pass calls from one person to another and just say they are out on lunch or they are on the phone. They are really unprofessional. I provided a same day call out service to repair a leak, they made me buy all the materials, and install everything with my company money, only to tell me in the end they had no money to pay me. Very unprofessional business Absolutely Rude staff.

Glad our experience is now over but if it was possible to give 0 stars then I would. As you can see in the photos attached this was the condition of the house we moved into. Nobody ever should have to move into a house with black mould in the windows and a dirty toilet amongst many other things. Not a nice experience

If I could give 0 I would, rented a property for 1.5 years to have many issues with said property including slugs, leaks and now we've found out the oven was condemned soon after we left. Upon moving out we decided to get my father in law to help with the process as we found the agents to be short and rude with us, only for the same thing to happen to him with alot of finger pointing regarding the problems and one agent even handing over our case to a different colleague (presumably because the discussion was spiralling into argumentative nature) When we had repairs unless we got my father in law involved it would take weeks for them to respond if at all

At the start of the summer, I decided to move was in order. The flat I took an interest in was being let through Lentin Smith. After making initial inquiries I was disappointed to find out that I was a little too late. Nevertheless, Lentin Smith took down my details in case something else came along or the flat in question became available again. I was pleasantly surprised when they contacted me again some weeks later with news about the flat I had been looking for. Laura (and the rest at Lentin Smith) have been absolutely wonderful with finding us a good tenant for a new development Conditioning House in BD1. I would not hesitate at the slightest to recommend this firm, especially for Conditioning House, due to their experience with this development.
